  1. Lamborghini Gallardo is what you need to be looking at - they're miles cheaper to import.
  2. Yes it is - from memory it's even listed on the SEVS register. You'd need to be a test car though (and convince a workshop to go through all the testing...)
  3. I hate to burst some bubbles, but it isn't just a matter of finding an R35 that has less than 300km on the odometer and built before Feb 2009 - if it were that easy, agents across Japan would be buying early models and fiddling with the odometers accordingly. DoTaRS requires extensive paperwork to prove that you bought the car NEW from a dealership, you're not allowed to buy them from auction.

  6. I can answer that part - he had connections in Japan for purchasing the car he was after, and he was happy to negotiate with them directly. Because he'd done that side of things himself, I reduced my fee accordingly.
  7. Yeah I spoke to that owner too, what a wanker! The cruise to the event and back home was nearly as much fun as the event itself! I'll post something more sensible later when I've recovered from my dehydration...

  12. If it's pre-1989 built, then the world is your oyster, if you find the right car, it can be imported. Anything else you want to know?

  16. Just print the Skyline entrant form for the Stagea Chad, you should be fine.
  17. Get a scan of the export certificate emailed to you, shouldn't be too hard to tell...
  18. Ask your broker Geoff! Give them a call on that 1800 number and give them a rev up, it has been plenty long enough now.
  19. I haven't dealt with them personally, but you may want to Google them - their name seems to appear a fair bit on other forums.
