    Yes it is - from memory it's even listed on the SEVS register. You'd need to be a test car though (and convince a workshop to go through all the testing...)

    I hate to burst some bubbles, but it isn't just a matter of finding an R35 that has less than 300km on the odometer and built before Feb 2009 - if it were that easy, agents across Japan would be buying early models and fiddling with the odometers accordingly. DoTaRS requires extensive paperwork to prove that you bought the car NEW from a dealership, you're not allowed to buy them from auction.

    I can answer that part - he had connections in Japan for purchasing the car he was after, and he was happy to negotiate with them directly. Because he'd done that side of things himself, I reduced my fee accordingly.

    Yeah I spoke to that owner too, what a wanker! The cruise to the event and back home was nearly as much fun as the event itself! I'll post something more sensible later when I've recovered from my dehydration...

    ^^Nope, unless you're an overseas visitor on holiday and are taking your car back home with you when you leave, all cars coming into Australia attract duty and GST
