  1. short shifters generally have a longer throw than a standard item. if the short shift was already in the car check to see if the plate that it was mounted in is removable. have a look at some pics of new short shifter kits and you'll see what I mean.
  2. Was a great day, I was also out on new mitchi pilot sport cups that were brand spankers, I found they really took along time to wear in and understeered off turn one once and was very close twice. but after they wore in and got up to temp they were great, did a 1:08.2 according to my old man with a stop watch next to me on the last session of the day, also running lower pressured helped immensely with grip. looking forward to the next one, hopefully I can get an FRP bonnet before then so I can get more than a few laps in before having to cool down. Thanks for the day guys was great.
  3. Even though you have a jap exaust that is X size, have a good check inside the mufflers/cannon my pipe was 3" but inside the cannon it was more like 2" or even a bit less, huge restriction, i never thought to look in there until it was pointed out to me
  4. Sorry for the late reply, put on an exaust the is 3.5" all the way through, made 414kw atw, 350kw atw @ 5k rpm
  5. Took it to unigroup, still didnt make power after fixing exaust housing issue but found the exaust to be smaller than 3inch in the mufflers, a fair bit smaller, so got a new cat back made by performance exaust in northmead, really happy with workmanship and the service they provided, so is now 3.5 inch all the way through, straight through 3.5 inch mufflers, will be booking it back in with unigroup asap, was told the exaust was dropped at the place i went to before but the turbo issue was still there so now the exaust side of things are all sorted, the car felt better after the turbo was sorted but feels heaps better with this exaust on but its only got a basic tune so i cant stretch its legs will post after i take it back to unigroup

  7. cool thanks ill have to get in contact with a local mob that sell recaro rails to measure distances etc
  8. yup, .94 off the top of my head, still havnt tuned it but it feels better and makes a bit of extra boost than before without touching the boost controller
  9. How about driving around, ie places to avoid?
  10. going to be in newcastle tomorrow night, whats good on a friday night?
  11. Had great fun, had to get the turbo flange machined straight as when the guys changed the angle, too much heat and one corner sagged + the weld on runner #6 was cracked and had to be re welded, real quality bit of gear. But now that its sorted with a new housing and no leaks it feels better, just feels stronger i guess, but ill have to wait a few weeks till i can arange to get it on a dyno for another tune and to see if its not just my head playing tricks on me wanting it to feel better. Fingers crossed
  12. For the life of me i cant find seat rails to suit an r34gtt for a sparco evo2 They are different to the rest of the skylines, any advice guys
  13. havnt fixed it yet, went away for a month so it didnt get worked on and yup i bought one of those in a 0.96ar two weeks ago, took it all apart last week, when the mani got the flange angle changed it must have gotten too much heat into it and caused it to warp, so sending it off tomorrow to get machined flat again, matched the ports to the head so yeh fingers crossed, after that it'll all be going back together and then have the dump redone (new type of v-band flange on the new housing) if it needs it then off to uni group for a tune. will keep this updated when i get some news on it cheers
  14. forgot to add, a standard manual computer comes with it as well as an air flow meter and an old apexi pod. I need this thing gone so make an offer
