  1. RB25/30DET completely standard bottom end and head. T66 turbo 24psi More to come when nos added, will update 371awkw <dyno sheet>
  2. Thanks Sydneykid, was hoping you'd see this Im not far of the power needed to break 3rd gear (371awkw) and plan on doing alot more drag racing next season as well as using sticky tyres so prob only a matter of time. I have a spare gtr box now, so i'll repair this one and see how it goes. Thanks again.
  3. Thanks for the input so far. Yes I'm looking for a replacement for the GTR box. At this stage I'm looking at going with the OS gearset but I have heard that Pfitzner do a helical cut box/gearset aswell as their dogbox. Does anyone have info on these? thanks
  4. Managed to lose 5th & reverse (selector fork?) at the last drag meet as well as my car sounding supercharged in 1st gear (bearing?). Anyway, what gearbox's are you using/recomend when a standard GTR one wont do? Its for an R32 GTS-4 with an RB30DET that will be daily driven, and no I'm not made of money so the Holinger is not an option.
  5. Thanks for the input so far guys, just thought I should point out I wont be doing the work myself so talk about buckets etc goes over my head. Haven't looked into cams to much, was gonna go with Tomie, but was told not to bother with Jap stuff as they can be made locally for a lot less. More interested in wether or not to spend the cash on the rb25 head or start looking for a gtr one. Final target for car is 800hp.
  6. Is it worth modifying the rb25de head or should I be looking for an rb26 one? At present I'm looking at a port n polish, reground cams etc which will see a 15% flow increase. If i go the whole hog ( and almost double the cost) and get oversized valves etc it could be upto 35% increase, but is it worth spending that sort of cash on a RB25de head?
  7. Thanks Sydneykid. I'll just be happy with what I've got for now while I save for forgies. I only have a standard rb25de head aswell so I'll look into modifying that as well. Thanks again.
  8. Anyone else pushed the limits of the standard internals? I currently have an rb30 making 340awkw (with 20psi) but the T66 is begging for more boost. I want to tune it with C16 and up the boost to 25psi, is this a recipe for disaster? Have already clocked up 35,000kms with no probs but want to get down the 1/4 faster
