I've got a couple but the gutter cut the light to the bottom of your rim and it looks pov. I shot an underexposed shot with a flash zoomed in in my other hand. I did still need to remove some minor stuff in shop but the shots were 95% done. I was just trying random shit. I've shot so many car shows I get bored if they're not moving... *YAWN*

I don't understand... you see the same ladies all the time if they're where you live, and you're basically married now anyway You don't get to see that kind of machinery every day. It's worth the dickheads that lurk in the crowds. I didn't see one fight or anyone staunching up. I still wouldn't take a girl but it's definately a lot more toned down than a few years ago

we can't all be super sophisticated aristocrats. there's plenty of dickheads there, but it seems thats the case at any car event. they're just a different class of dickhead to what you're used to dealing with i think some of the people there are alright though. The cars though... damn, there's some awesome machinery there. very impressive.

i've not shot fireworks yet. there's only ever fireworks when i'm drinking. After smashing a lens drink shooting I never take the camera to parties or anything like that.

That shot was taken with my kit lens ages ago man, just found it when i was sifting through shots and it made me think of the new year That shot was achieved by placing the camera on a tripod and having the shutter open for a long time. Not sure of the exact time. I used a remote trigger so i could open and close the shutter at the right time to get the driving lights and nothing else. good luck with the 550, I've heard nothing but good stuff from people getting into photos. Looking forward to seeing what u can come up with. nice worx shots too owen. I had a look at them on flickr, a couple of them are rad!
