  1. Hey, I really need to get a Road Worthy done to register my car, its a 200SX but the back tires have just under the amount of tread allowed to pass Road Worthy. I cant afford new tyres just yet, does anyone know a RWC place who wouldn't be so strict on the tryes? Or can anyone do RWC here?
  2. Yeah can someone please help? I just got a new clutch and unless its right on the floor its not pressed in. Kinda crappy.
  3. I got a CES Exhaust for my R33 and it was awesome. Highly recommend them for exhaust work tehy are by far one of the best. Although they to tried to sell me a FMIC but its kinda expensive when you can get a similar Hybrid Intercooler for about $1k, same size to. So get the exhaust from them but get the FMIC and the rest else where.
  4. Well I got Insurance for my R33 rating 6 and 18 yo for $3000pa with Famous. I then changed to a 2002 Aust delivered 200SX and they wanted $3700pa. I'm now 19 with rating 5. RACQ gave insurance for $2600. I dont know how people get such big quotes for like $8k. You musn't be telling the sales person the right thing? I was quoted $4,100 from Just Cars for the 200SX.

  6. I mean if it almost works on a R33 apart from the flashing lights and no TPS and Tacho signal then it would probaly be the same error on the R34? Like the R34 Auto ECU would control the same things as the R33 Auto ECU?
  7. If the PowerFC works with a R33 it should work with the R34? Its pretty much identical apart from tiptronic.
  8. I have an Auto and its fine. Just stall it up using the brake to about 2000rpm then plant it. If you want to go faster turn overdrive off so it rides out 3rd gear all the way. My 0-100 time is like 5.5 sec using the stall method. Make sure the power button is on so it will redline every gear and it should be better. And getting +4 on the stock boost is good probaly about 7psi (guess?).
  9. He did do good work for me too but for Dyno Tuning it isn't cheap as he has to use someone else's. It was like $200 just for the Dyno Time and $150 for his fee.
  10. Does that mean you can do whatever you want, speed drag at the airport? I'm still not sure why the police can only book you if you park on federal land and not for speeding if you were speeding.
  11. Just wondering what road rules apply at the airport? I've heard heaps of things like normal cops can't set speed cameras on the main road to the Airport. They can only get you for parking on the side of the road? Is this why so many people go down there all the time?
  12. Yeah I just went and got a set of EBC Greenstuff brake pads then went down to Midas to get them machined and fitted. They measured the rotors and the rear's were 17mm and the fronts were 29.3mm. The legal limit is 16mm rear and 30mm front. So they said they wouldn't be able to do it. Is it bad to go elsewhere and have them slightly under the limit? Is this even normal? He wanted me to get a new set of rotor's for the front and back and that was like $1200 all up so I said, I'll be right. What shoudl I do? Get new rotor's or is it still ok to be slightly under? Thanks!

  14. My Economy sucks as well. Normal city driving no long distance trips about 250k a tank then I did an two hours at 100km on the highway with city driving and I got 390km. Although it seems when I go hard I get better economy? Like if I take it to the strip and do a few runs I get close to 300km a tank. Strange
