  1. I'll try and get some better and more curent shots up over the weekend, these are the ones i have at work. Sorry about the latness of the pics flip. blk180, email sent.
  2. No one else interested? It has to go soon, garage space is pretty desperately needed.
  3. Hi all, it's been a fair while since I've been on here or for that matter anywhere near my car. Basically wanting to sell it as I work long hours so I simply don't have the time and energy for the attention it needs. It does need a little TLC, nothing too serious. It has had the cylinder head replaced about 6-7 months ago and it hasn't been driven since i got it home so I definitely will need the head re-tensioned and that's why it's blowing just a little bit of blue smoke. Apart from that it runs pretty good. I haven’t fired it up in about a month so I'd say the battery is probably gone flat. Other little problems are a small dent in the drivers side door, and someone ran up my arse and so the right rear light is cracked and a little dented, but nothing too serious and not really all that noticeable. Apart from that the car is pretty much immaculate. Have a full service and rego history spanning something like 10 years or more (I'll have to dig that out, I know it's somewhere in the living room . It's got roughly off the top of my head about 250K on the clock (but I'll confirm the exact K's when I get home tonight). It's Silver/black two tone. It's a series 2 but has series 1 rims. Happy to email pics to anyone, just email me. Rego is until the later half of January 07. I'm looking for $2K flat. The car is in Neutral Bay in Sydney. I'm contactable on either 0400036014 or [email protected] or [email protected] If you are interested, please remember the car isn't running too crash hot due to it needing the cylinder head retightened so the best bet is to either drive it to a mechanic that’s close by (I can recommend a few good ones in the area, or have a tow truck). Oh and it has been garage the entire time that I’ve owned it, and judging by the condition it was garaged for most if not all it’s life. Any questions, feel free to contact me.
  4. I've seen only RB26DETT and RB20 motors as well, and they will cost almost as much as the model. Depending what model you by will depend on wether a motor is included. Most Tamiya models will come with an engine and hood that pops up, same with Revell. But the Fujimi models will usually be kerb side kits.
  5. cowie165, what paint are you using for the metal finish? I've tried a few different paints, but I'm not 100% satisfied with the finish.
  6. Here a VG30DETT motor I built the other day for one of my models.... the shell is next, after I finish a few little touch ups on the engine. Anyway here is a pic. I made the Dizzy and ignition leads from scratch
  7. I wish you didn't post that photo either.... If it wasn't for the fact that I live in a unit, I'd of taken him... poor little dog. Hope either the owner calls soon or some one is able to take him. Good stuff for not taking him to the pound...
  8. Condolences to you and the family. Never easy to loose a loved one. Just remember, when relatives go they never want you to be sad for them, they just want you to remember all the good times. All the best dude.
  9. Umm have a closer look at the rear of the car... It has a gigantic skyline logo on it.... Thats why I speculated the possibility of say maybe a GT-t. Up until now all I've heard from Nissan and the media that they are two different models from here on out... but the photo says otherwise.... just my little observation....
  10. looks great... as everyone else said, I prefer it far more over the proto... but yeah, it will need something special to be quicker and better than a 911 turbo... I think Big Rezza had the right comment, best car in the world. I’m sure it will keep up with the porka with a 3.7TT but will it have trick suspension and the right handling to get in front? I guess only time will tell… In any event, since it now seems to be carrying a skyline logo, would that indicate possibly having a lower spec GT-T model? After all I definitely can't afford something within the expected price range of the new GT-R as I assume a fair few wouldn’t on here, but would be just as happy with a slightly lower spec, single turbo, rear driven version… or is the current V35 the closest we will get to that?
  11. not much actually, it puts you back on fairly quickly, but then you still have to start from a stand still again each time you come off...
  12. I’m still looking for the flare guards at present, but I may try and fashion some out of the putty… If I find some, I’ll let you know. I’ll definitely need them though cause I ordered some deep dished 345 Watanabes and I’m fairly certain they will hang out past the body work… but then again that was the idea… They will be going on the GC110 that I posted a pic of on the previous page…. Hopefully I can get started this weekend….
  13. Well, I’ve had about a bit over an hour to play it so far and I’m pretty impressed. Far more difficult than GT4. Same graphics which are fantastic, the bikes range from scooters to racers, race bikes and even a tourer or two. All the GT4 tracks are there (apart from Le Mans) and even a new circuit which is Valencia. My first foray in TT was with a nice Ducati 999 at Nurburgring. As expected, it ended in tears just after turn one. The entire screen leans into corners as I quickly found out that you don’t control the bike, but more so the rider. Also you can set up your sitting position on the bikes with a lot of precision. If you want to ride a dirt bike, you can even pick a motard sitting position, and get that leg out on the turns. As I mentioned before, falling is really easy (mind you I did have it on professional settings), and I soon had the highside down packed pretty well. For someone who has ridden his fair share of bikes, I actually found it far more difficult to control the bike in game than I ever have in real life…. Maybe I’m just more cautious in real life though…. Anyway here are a few ingame shots I quickly took when I was playing… looking forward to some quality time with TT this weekend. Overall I rate it rather highly actually and I’d give it a 9 ½ out of 10 because it’s just so damn fun popin monos…
  14. I just picked up my copy at lunch time but I still got to wait till I get home before I get a chance to play….. For those of you that have been living in a cave and don’t know what TT is, it’s basically GT4 with motorbikes. You get almost all the same tracks (yes that includes Nurburgring) and approximately 180 sports bikes to choose from. Plus you get to customize them with sports exhausts and etc… just like in the GT series. Anyone else played it? Thoughts? I’ll give my first impressions of it tomorrow…. And if there is enough of us here that get it, we could probably run similar time challenges as with GT4….
  15. Cheers Geoff. Damn you guys should never have posted the link to Hobby link Japan. I just got on there and ordered a stack of stuff.... it's gonna send me broke. One thing I couldn't find though are some flare guards. Anyone have any idea where I can get some? I want the old school bolted on looking ones for a 1/24 size model. Maybe I might just try and mold them myself with the putty....
