And those threads are also filled with people telling you to buy a GT-T

I used a small smear on the half moons for peace of mind, no sealant on any other parts of it and it hasn't leaked.
Make sure all the bolts are in the covers too. -
Yes, you'll need to change both front and rear diffs or the front wheels will spin faster/slower than the rears (depending on what you change the rear diff gears to)

Stock one, silicone, or go to supercheap/repco and find a bit of 8mm heater hose with a similar bend and chuck it on.
Don't over think it. -
pretty cool news!

Nissan parts have lasted 20 or so years and new nissan parts will too.
I understand silicone is probably "better" but that's quality silicone. The ebay kits are honestly fine, it's just a bit of a lucky dip as some are good enough and others are not, some fit and others won't - whereas the genuine path is fairly trouble free. -
I've used, and have seen mates use superpro with no problems, they also seem fairly priced.
I'm planning on using superpro in the front end of my 34 when the time comes too. -
Yeah, plenum off and replace them all.
Kudos Motorsports sell kits:

Good time to install or paint/powdercoat a few things as well as new intake gaskets, hose clamps, oil cooler etc etc -
No problem!

I'd suggest getting a big box of trim clips from ebay, search "Trim clip nissan" for example.
https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.H0.Xnissan+trim+clip.TRS0&_nkw=nissan+trim+clip&_sacat=0
or you can go the genuine route and work through amayama/similar sites.- 1

jesus that's awesome
-
Replace the whole thing.
If that part has cracked the rest is ready to crack. -

Plazmaman has released a billet, CNC machined runner intake manifold and plenum kit.
I might just get it for the sake of it, bring on no power gains and more lag! Lol
Baller life! And you give me shit about my pink salt and brunch habits

A quick google shows a few shops who sell nuts to suit.

Had a good weekend with the old skyline. Decided to go on a bit of a road trip with a mate and his R32 up to Bilpin to pick apples, eat apples and do other apple related activities
I also got the myPlates JDM style plates, the fit without being bent which is cool?
My friend runs e85 so we had to stop for fuel a couple of times lolFound a spot, families in big SUV's quite unsure as to why our "sports cars" are bouncing around on the dirt.
Found a bunch of not really ripe apples, ate them anyway
Gave up and got some store bought stuff. The young lady asked if I wanted ice cream or cream with my apple pie.. I ran the gauntlet and said both and it paid off!
Then drove back to Sydney

Good to see this GT -> GTT thread has ended up at the same point as the 100 others you didn't search for and find.
lmao, never change SAU- 1

Honestly, the better option is to buy a GTT and respray it.
-
Welcome! Looks great

You sound like you've made up your mind. I'd push it and see how much this guy will give you for it but if you're burnt out now I'd just move it on.
If it was a GTR Shell then I'd possibly consider storing and keeping it till you're motivated due to the value simply getting out of control but not a GTS4 - Time to make it someone else's problem tbh. -
Sounds like you're in the same mindset I was to be honest! The age does have it's charm and I'll admit to loving that it's just not the same.
The R34 was a great improvement in those aspects for sure and no doubt it's a great car. (Ironic because I've got it up for sale, but I still love it lol) -
Don't bring my high class diet into this!
Bloody pink salt, it's good stuff! -
Diff works!
Love mexico! -
As above, that should line up with the little 3 slits on the lower dash panel near your left knee if you're in the drivers seat (from memory)
shouldn't really affect your speedo reading in any way
Big noob - R34 gtt front/rear different?

R34 GTT uses a fork type rear which is the same as a R33 GTR
S13 gear won't work no, and no you cannot (realistically) put the Fronts on the rear (or the other way around) the rear shocks are like twice as long as the rears - I've posted a photo of this in my build thread
