  3. I had these on the car when I purchased it, they're in good condition. at the moment they're set for a comfortable yet firm ride. ride height is around 110-120mm with the stock sideskirts. not sure about spring rates but it felt very tight on the road. the only reason i replaced them was to swap to a much stiffer setup with n1 type-v's. you know what they look like but i can send pics on request. price is $800. pm or sms on 0400.099.297 located in canley vale. cheers joe
  4. i dont drive it anymore because dodgy blue slips are starting to get expensive and i hardly drove it out. the only benefit would have been to and from events but im not too fussed. selling it is not an option. beer fridge and tool set are good to go too. my only problem is i cant weld, otherwise i'd have this done. reliability is something im working on too. id rather adjust the tune for safety over keeping it standard. i might change my mind as i go. the only problem im having now is the ECU not switching the main relay off after i switch the ignition off. i dont even want to send it back to vipec, a kill switch that does the same thing would do. does anyone know how?
  5. some of you know me, most dont but i've been around here for a while figuring out what i want to do with my car. ive taken it off the road indefinitely so i can stop having to deal with tricking cops into giving me easy defects to clear when i get pulled over - which i'm a pro at now. for those who have track cars - what advice can you give me? i need a cheap car trailer, where can i hire/buy one for cheap? i've had bad luck with this car from dodgy built motors (three) to my vipec ECU shitting itself (twice). i just want to drive, i dont want to take it to any workshops anymore - they're all shit. ideally id like to drop it off at a workshop and play with it after hours. i could use space at my factory complex but its 20mins away and i dont have the patience to move my stuff there. i've got a fuel system ready to go. hx35 i want to fit. rb2530 i want to freshen up (ill rape the rb25 for now though). i can do all this myself but any advice or help from anyone around bankstown would be sweet cheers joe
  6. hey mate can you send me a PM with the workshop name also?
  7. interested. any money owing or accident history on it?
  8. IMO any GTR's that are pre 93 without the crank mod aren't worth looking at. i always factor in a rebuild when purchasing - $10k is a fair price considering 33 GTR's are going for 15k with under 100,000km on the clock. trouble is finding an unmolested one.
  9. interested. is this on revs? any money oweing? accident history?
  10. Didn't mean to start an argument mate, it was my first point of contact for what I thought would be a successful negotiation.
  11. Been looking for a clean unmolested 94 32gtr for a while, im not saying yours is but to get it there ill need to spend time and more importantly money to freshen it up or at least match the body kit colour to the rest of the car as well as freshen up the interior. Especially it being a 94 V-SPEC 2 it should all be kept in immaculate condition. I like that I'll get to see it all done myself as I tend to keep my cars long term. I've made some calls and so far I'm looking at $3000 for a respray to match everything, and either $600 for a clean set of 32gtr seats or $2000 to get r34 gtr seats (haven't decided yet). If the timing belt hasn't been done I'll be looking at replacing it then getting other belts, bearings and seals done for peace of mind, and considering its a 200,000km+ motor a head recondition would also be a good idea. I'm not including the cost of the dash and other interior bits because these things are expected of a car with this amount of km but I do need to consider the rest - money you're asking Id expect it to be in immaculate condition. I'm sure you understand this.
  12. I'll sell the entire car with a pink slip for $4500 - it needs a paint job, its currently in primer
  13. All parts are in Sydney West. The motor and gearbox are both in the car and running - the car is out of registration (27/06/12) but it can be used to test both. Its an undamaged car, im only stripping it because its worth more to me in parts than as a whole without rego. The car has only been to one SAU motorkhana event (and it was raining), otherwise everything has been very well treated. RB25DET LONG MOTOR from sereis 2 approx 85,000km. very strong motor - bought off an SAU member, has a powdercoated Greddy style plenum included. only used either motul 300v or royal purple (has a fresh batch of royal purple in it) also comes with a quick release oil sump plug (you just twist the small lever and it releases the oil). it doesnt come with coil packs, starter motor, alternator or power steering pump (selling all separately. $1250 RB25DET manual gearbox. my car was auto and used this entire conversion kit off a low km r33. has approx 110,000km on it. only used redline shockproof oils, standard clutch has plenty of meat on it. $1250 GCG Turbocharger (garrett dual ball bearing core) turbo, biggest hi-flow turbo available with OP6 Rear housing. comes with braided oil feed. in good condition, minimal shaft play, has not seen over 12psi and only been to one SAU motorkhana event $1200 Vi-PEC v44 ECU - Plug and play kit. comes with expansion adapter and PLX wideband (0-5v) connected to the ECU for the auto-tune function. Tuned on BP 98, also have an e85 tune that passed emissions test. $2000 Vi-PEC v44 ECU - needs the MOSFET chip replaced. it stays on when you turn the ignition off. $800 Splitfire coil packs for series 1 r33 gtst - $350 Ideally I'd like to sell the motor and gearbox before anything else. you can contact me on 0400 099 297. Cheers, Joe
  14. yeah i will. ill buy my next car before i start parting it out. what are you after?
  15. So I'm finally going to part-out my r33 because its not worth the time i need to spend on it to get it to where i want it to be so now I'm looking for a 93/4 R32 GTR. I'm going to be super picky when purchasing my next car because i tend to hang on to my cars for a long time because i fall in love too easily. What im looking for is something CLEAN. My preference is a 94 R32 GTR but if its a 93 with a built engine and supporting mods I will be more than happy to consider it. I would prefer something thats been set up for track work, it must be registered and NOT stand out like dogs balls. so what im looking for is: - CLEAN 93 or 94 - straight body - registered - power mods - good suspension set up - quiet-ish (not stupidly loud) - decent amount of km (not over 90,000km unless its got a built motor or compression is above 155psi on each cylinder and leak down is well within spec) If you hear of something i'd be interested in, please give me a heads up. I feel like its going to be a loooong search so any help will be appreciated. thanks, joe
  16. I'm only looking at tastefully modified cars. That's what I'm after. What have you got for me?
  17. i'm parting out my car for the sole reason of r33's becoming harder to sell these days. the car is registered till July 2012. the motor is off a series 2 r33 gtst. i've run all of my series 1 accessories as my car is a series 1 r33. it is just the long motor with no accessories, it has a greddy style plenum with adaptor. i bought it with 67,000km on it and only traveled 20,000km since i bought it. it is in REALLY good condition. I always ran either motul 300v or royal purple. it has fresh royal purple oil in it now. also comes with a quick change sump plug. i'm after $1400 for the long motor (including plenum and injectors). +$200 for starter, alternator, ps pump. +$300 for splitfire coil packs. +$1000 for GCG dual ball bearing hi-flow turbo with braided lines, rated at 450hp. gearbox is in very good condition with redline shockproof oil. clutch is standard and is in good condition, around 60% meat left. $1400. ECU is vi-pec. almost brand new as it was a replacement from vi-pec a month ago, comes with expansion harness. $1600 +$400 for PLX wideband with new Bosch sensor which has a 5v input for connecting to the ECU as well as for the auto-tune function. call/sms me on 0400 099 297 or send me a PM for further details. all parts are currently in the car and RUNNING.
