  1. Plenty of ways to chase response. - Stroker Kits - E85 - 4.11 Diff Gears - 3.7 Final Drive - Vcam - Carbon Driveshafts - Turbo Choice I've got a 2.8 with Vcam, Carbon driveshaft and -5's. Response is great even on 98 and relatively old turbos. If you can, drive different setups and see what you prefer
  2. They can make 500whp but the supporting mods you'd require would be extremely costly. There is a R34 GTR in Melbourne making 390wkw at 21/21psi, but it's 2.8 with Vcam on E85. I'd just go single to make things easy.
  3. Still love this build thread. Matt, I think it's time for an update on your new Vspecll Nur?
  4. I've got regular -5's too and ran out of turbo at 420wkw on 98. I then looked into these newer GTX variants and they all claim to have a new blade design with 500% more flow blah blah blah. No real world results have been proven though. My opinion is don't waste all that money for new twin turbos, labour and tune. The gains will be miniscule...if any.
  5. Just buy WARGTR. It's for sale and has a Nitto 3.2L making 1400hp with all the bells and whistles.
  6. Didn't HKS build some exhaust Vcam prototypes a while back? T thought the conclusion was that they would be too expensive for the gains.
  7. You didn't purchase the Vcam Step2 by any chance? Then swap it with a Step1 at RacePace?
  8. I've got -5's with a 2.8 and Vcam. Perfect pairing for a nice street car imo. Responsive on 98 too I also dont have anxiety every time a HWY Patrol car drive past me in Melbourne
  9. 2.8 purely for the sound. Plus no chopping
  10. Series1 Bayside Blue and Midnight Purple cars had black engine bays. Series 2 was body colour. Other colours were body colour though, my white BNR34 Vspec came with a white engine bay. Although the paint is matt and dull. Series 1 will have blue build plate, Series 2 will have silver build plate, unless it's a Nur of course.
