Pretty sure the stock wastegate spring is set to open at 5psi - the stock boost solenoid opens after a certain rpm to raise boost to 7psi. -
Swap your bike riding and walking for jogging and I can guarantee the weight will come off. Either that or you simply eat too much

As other forum members have asked before - why don't people just go with OEM timing belts. They're designed to last 100000kms anyway. I think the whole 'racing belt' thing and the blue colour sucks a lot of people in. Wasnt there a thread which showed that the teeth in the Gates belts were poorly formed?

I think thats the pitfall of owning an older car. My 94 gtst is showings its age, I get all sorts of minor niggling problems. Still its been pretty reliable given its age.

Hey guys, my car makes a metallic clunking noise when taking off or braking however it seems to only do this on hot days! It started making the noise last summer but went away as the weather cooled down. I've had no problems all through winter but it just started making the noise again. Does anyone know what might be causing it? The noise is coming from the front of the car. Ive got relatively new springs and shocks on my car so I dont think they're the cause. Could it be some old rubber bushes or mounts that are on their way out?? Any help would be much appreciated!

Unless you're set on getting a brand new car Id go for a private sale. Dealers are a rip off and Ive never bought a second hand car from them. If you know what you want and have a bit of technical and mechanical knowledge then definitely go for a private sale. Also through a private sale you may come across someone desperate to sell so you might land a real bargain. Just make sure you get the car inspected and remember to do a REVS check. No offence but dealers are for women and people with no clue about cars.

Hi just wondering if someone who has a good knowledge of the RB25Det can list the locations of all the coolant hoses. The reason I ask is that I have a possible coolant leak and I am trying to locate the leak. The hoses Im aware of are - Top & bottom radiator hose 4 x heater hoses Small elbow coolant hose located at rear of engine (turbo coolant feed??) Any help would be much appreciated!
