  1. I bought my R33 GTST about a year ago and since I bought it there's been a brake squeal on light braking (slowing down in traffic and such), I replaced the pads and had no luck so I've just been putting up with it until recently. I've rebuilt all 4 callipers with the kits from Kudosmotorsport, I've replaced all 4 rotors with DBA 4000's, I've replaced the brake pads with Bendix general CT's, I've installed HEL braided brake lines and replaced the brake fluid with Penrite super dot 4 fluid. Yet the brake squeal is still there? I am at my wits end, hoping someone out there has any ideas before I just give up and take it to a brake shop.
  2. Anybody wrecking their S2 R33 or have any spare bits in good nick? Recently been to an upholsterer to be quoted $500 to re-cover my steering wheel and gear knob which has got to be ridiculous. Really after both items with minimal wear and will pay good coin for the right item/s.

  4. Thanks for the replies, put new plugs in today and had a general look over the engine to find a hose to the AAC was blocked. Unblocked the hose and with a bit of encouragement the car started and was running perfectly, got through the learning procedure without any dramas. Won't be driven until it's to the tuners in a few weeks. Does anyone have a rough idea on how much would be a reasonable price for a full custom dyno tune? I've been quoted $8-900 and to me that just seems plain ridiculous.
  5. Injectors have been set to 67.5% with .18ms of lag to compensate as per paulr33's Power FC FAQ. I have a wideband currently installed, but I cannot get the car to start so that's irrelevant atm. Just want to get the car running and know that it's all good before I leave it with a new tuner. The only thing i can imagine the problem to be is the spark plugs, they're caked.
  6. Injectors are 2nd hand but have been flow and leak tested and came back all sweet.
  7. Only pulled the first plug out so far, but its filth and reeks of petrol so i'll go get a fresh set tomorrow.

Been playing around all afternoon and found a few things, A hose that goes to the AAC was blocked that has now been cleared, still wouldn't start so I've pulled a spark plug out and from trying to start the car so many times I've fouled the plugs. Would this not allow the car to start what so ever?
  9. Doesn't seem to be any problems, have been over paulr33's guide several times but nothing in there covers the issue i'm having.
  10. So I've just finished putting 550cc nismo injectors, Z32 AFM, Hypergear highflow and a Power FC into my 1996 R33 GTST. Now the only problem is that the car wont idle? As soon as it starts it dies, unless i control the revs manually. I've gone through on the hand controller and turned the boost control kit off, I've set the injector latency correction and I've selected that it's running a Z32. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
  11. Yeah the hypergear highflow service has great reviews and I wont have to change any piping which won me over. Quite healthy motor roughly 140k, 160psi across all cylinders and no coolant or oil usage. Not sure what coil packs are actually in at the moment I don't think they are factory I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Thank you everyone for the feedback!

  13. So I'm currently half way through replacing a few parts on my S2 R33 Skyline, just wondering if I'm going about it all the right way/any suggestions. This is whats already happened. HKS Air filter. Blitz FMIC 3" Turbo back exhaust Full Tein coilovers Electronic boost controller This is whats going on at the moment. Apexi power FC yet to be installed/tuned. Hypergear Hiflowed RB25det turbo. Z32 AFM. 555 Nismo sidefeed injectors. Would I have any use in upgrading my fuel pump at this stage or will the stocko be capable? Any insight into how much of a power increase I can expect to see if my tuner knows his stuff? Anything else I should be considering? Thanks, Jess.
