  1. I had teins on my Forester turbo, loved them to a degree because of the EDFC. Well 2yrs ago my son realigned my suspension geometry for me resulting in two non serviceable coil overs. Was not going to replace with more teins as I hated the ‘crunches’ and through your spine stiff as a mofo impacts. So, I spoke to MCA and they set me up with some soft street duty coil overs for about $2,400. Night and day but still on the stiffer side
  2. lol I felt the same, I have been lucky being recommended the GOOD cheaper tyres cause I was doing it tough and rego was up. They did well but I gave them the respect of a stripper lover and just chilled in my everyday car. My Skyline will only ever have capable street tyres
  3. Cheers so much bro, I asked cause I remembered there being one or two wide bands that kept failing
  4. Is there a preference to brands for longevity and accuracy mate?
  5. Oh… I also immediately got rid of it as soon as I got it back, I no longer need heart meds lol
  6. I had a 2010 Golf 1.4l tsi. About 4 yrs ago, I got engine warning light so took to VW dealership, just to have it assessed was $800 upfront and if they termed it was a intrinsic engine fault the $800 would be wavered. They found I had two cracked pistons (I had researched this was a common fault if not using premium but was classed as a defect without the need for recall) ‘I was advised by my mechanic mate to write a sob story to head office but say how good the service etc from VW was awesome and how I want to stay with the brand cause they make great cars. Somehow I won and it was fixed out of warranty, would have cost me $6-8,000 incidentally, the inside A pillar was covered the whole way done with recall correction stickers, over ten im so sorry you got shafted mate
  7. hey Tao Is there any power/response differences between choosing your; plumb back external waste gate via the std exhaust manifold system and the turbo bleed off waste gated plumb back dump pipe? RB25 neo Sorry if this is a dumb question

  10. Hey Guys, ‘just wondering if u have thought about adding a thumbs up emoji to the group reply/respond emoji list. There’s times when I want to show I agree/approve a point but I’m restricted to a heart emoji. I do like some stuff and love others, rarely would I use a trophy. A thumbs up fills that hole. cheers, ‘Ian

  14. I hope you are talking about recreational boaters, specifically yacht masters? I did 27 years in Marine Search & Rescue, and No we are not poor decision makers, my proof is; I never lost or had anyone injured including crew/dive team and persons in distress when death was a very real one step away. I hope you or anyone else has never had to make those type of decisions mate. but I understand and respect your points
