I received my renewal yesterday. No increase in premium so I'm pretty happy.

It was over 4 years ago mate, I highly doubt it.

I'm only making an assumption here. Husband (Skyline) and Wife (4WD) are talking on the phone. Wife tells Husband someone just rear ended me. She pulls over. Dash cam continues to drive off because person in 4WD is a f**king idiot. Husband thinks dash cam is trying to do a runner so he blocks them and tried to take a photo. I dunno, to me it did look dodgy. But it's possible he was just trying to record their rego.

So I called RACV today to find out what is happening with my policy which expires in Feb. Currently all existing policies are fine, but they're not taking on any new policies for Skylines. If anything changes we'll get a notice in writing 6-8 weeks before the policy is cancelled. Fingers crossed existing policies are kept.

I guess I need to call them up to see whats happening with my policy. Who else is good to insure with?

Is this happening at a certain date or just when our current policies run out?

Last I heard from @GTR-N1 on facebook is that NRMA aren't taking any new policies currently as they're reviewing their policies. Is your car a V-Spec or Non V-Spec?

They are ok providing the MAF sensor is still in place. Some places will knock you back if they're removed.

I'm pretty sure most policies state that your covered provided your car has "legal" modifications. Even things like an aftermarket ECU is not legal. if they want to get out of paying you, they can. You can't trust any of them really.

A friend of mine recently had an accident with his GTR. He is with RACV and it's currently under investigation. They're going through everything with a fine tooth comb. I'm of the opinion they're looking for a chance to get out of paying. Insurance value is 100k. They're questioning the mods. I'm interested to see what happens. Investigator mentioned that anyone with this policy is subject to their investigation which included a 5 hour questioning of the incident.

If something was to happen, they have a very good excuse to try and get out of paying you.

Is everything engineered? Hard to see insurance covering you should something ever happen if it's not engineered.

lol - More than likely it's a standard pipe but I was struggling to find a photo online of a standard R34 front pipe. All the aftermarket ones are S/S so I doubt they'd be so rusted.

Help me identify my front pipe Gents Can anyone help me identify my front pipe? I'm trying to work out if it's a standard R34 GTR front pipe, or an aftermarket one. Possibly a blitz front pipe? I can't find any tags anywhere and the car is pretty low, so it's hard for me to see.
