  5. Hey just wondering if anyone knows where the reverse light wiring runs? from the gearbox to the lights them selves. iv lost my reverse lights when its in the reverse gear. we had the gearbox out not long ago to swap the clutch(i had the issue before we did this) and while it was it was out we tested the voltage on the plug that connected to the reverse light switch and also the neutral switch , in which there was a big voltage difference and a big drop on the reverse light switch, i also noticed that both the reverse lights had blown. im guessing the wiring goes from the gearbox to the interior fuse box to the reverse lights... but does anyone know the exact path it takes?? i believe there must be a wiring shortage or earthing out somewhere and need now to hunt it down now!! cheers!
  6. If it won't affect it. What's the best way to plumb up the line. I was thinking of using some form of metal cap and clamping it into a rubber hose. Or trying to find something that'll cover up the pipe and fasten it on
  7. I have a question on this topic! Currently I have the front bar off to do a little work on the car. And clean a few things up. Iv pulled the y - pipe off that goes to the recirculator pipe. Seeings as my car isn't running afm's due to the after market ecu. It it going to affect the car in any negative ways if I plumb up the return pipe. And have the 2 bov's venting to atmosphere??? Or is it best just to leave it?? It'll all be coming out/off in the next 6 months with a complete set up change.
  8. Hey mate. Do you have the exhaust pipe clamp. Its the bracket that bolts to the gearbox and the cat with a small rubber insulator!? What's the condition of the trans crossmember??
  9. I'm having the exact same issue with a ts2b clutch. The carrier recommended was a 20mm. We didn't put the box back on cause it was starting to compress the diaphragm springs. Luckily I have 2 shorter carriers we're going to try out. A 15mm and the one I got with the clutch which was machined down to 8mm!
  10. Having the same issue with my car atm. But currently the box is out for a clutch change! Ill try screwing the 2 switches back in when I get back to it this weekend. When you pay bridge it, you mean bridge the 2 switches?? Where can I get new reverse and neutral switches from?? I haven't been able to find any!!!!
  11. Iv got the same problem with my 32 gtr atm. it isnt missing the wiring it just got no reverse lights. we have the box out atm as we are replacing the clutch and i was going to try and rectify the issue. i , if i remember, can have a look under thae car when we get back to it this weekend and suss out the colour of the wiring etc if ya want. i havent really looked at them at this point. do you know if they are just screw in plugs or anything??
  12. thanks mate! cheers for the help! that's the one i originally got with the clutch but i made some calls to the australian "os giken" distributors JUST to be sure, who told me to get a 20mm carrier! i have the bearing(isnt in the picture) i took the clutch to the clutch shop to get looked over and made sure it was still in good order and to get the correct bearing for it.
  13. I do have a part number for the nissan carrier that os giken listed to use with the clutch, but i cant find any info at all or pictures of it 30501-K0401
  14. hey mate, sorry yeah the one on the left was the 8mm carrier and the right the 20mm carrier. and i have one that has come out of the car thats about 12mm, i didnt get the chance to measure it and it still at the car at the place we were working on it. ill get correct measurements when i get back to the car!! taking the measurements from the release fork pad to the back of the bearing. the one on the right, the 20mm carrier, is what i was told i needed to use with this clutch. the bearing on the 8mm carrier isnt what im using, i tool the clutch to a clutch place and got the correct bearing to suit the clutch. i just edited an image for this purpose but. i measure my carrier like "A#" in the diagram, unless its a total sleeve length or measurement "B#" is where i need to get the 20mm from?!
  15. Has anyone on here used a ts2b clutch before?!? To suit push type 32 GTR-33 GTST?!?! I have 3 carriers to go with the clutch. A 20mm, 12mm(haven't measured this one) and an 8mm! We've put the clutch on and used the 20mm carrier but its compressing the diaphragm springs as the box is going back on!! 20mm carrier was what was listed to be used with this clutch! Can anyone tell me what they've used or post up a picture or something. Maybe some accurate measurements! Heres a picture of the 20mm and 8mm carriers
  16. Got the new bearing and sprocket bush!!! Now is where the head f**k starts!! Bearing carrier!! I was told by the place I got the bearing and bush from to make sure I have the right one!! I have a carrier at home! I'm not sure if its the right one! Its to suit a ecr33 gts-t! Does anyone know if they are the same or different?? Does anyone have the measurements for the carrier that suits 32 GTR, push type clutch??? It is a fair bit shorter that the factory carrier!! But like they told me there is 4 or more carriers to suit my car!! The overall length of the one I have is 36mm and from were the forks contact to the top was 7mm maybe 8mm!! I believe the clutch to be a ts2b! Would you also recommend a nismo fork pivot ball for this heavier clutch??? Or would the factory one be fine?
  17. Cheers guys! Its an os giken twin! I forgot the series code though! S... Something
  18. In sa Need to replace my current to bearing. Cause everything coming out the pilot bush to! I didn't buy a clutch kit
  19. Just a quick one! I'm having trouble trying to find a replacement throw out(thrush) bearing and pilot bush!! Replacing my clutch with a twin plate, and need these parts to!! Anyone know who or where I can get these from? Add what they cost? I found some im the US but that'll take to long to get here! I have the part numbers but that's all really just need to know who sells or who can source!! Cheers!
  20. Just delete this topic as its full nothing really relevant to me anymore as I'm not using 2835's. I get the point... use bolt on twins with cams to big for them
  21. Na but a friend of mine had a t04r build 26 wide bodied gtr build by this workshop. That the engine got transplanted into a silvia
  22. Some interesting info. I'm just gonna sell them off and build something else. I met and had a good talk to someone that was a proprietor of a shop in adelaide most drift cars. But had some good input for me and said he'd be happy to answer/help out with anything.
