  1. R33/RB25 Starter Motor Brushes Hey guys, thought it was worth posting as I hadn't found any information on it previously. I successfully replaced the brushes in my r33 starter using this kit here: http://www.baxters.com.au/brush-box-mitsubishi-with-brushes-mb831.html Bolt in deal besides a tiny amount of filing. Starter motor was stamped 3300-08u10. Cheers
  2. Have heard of people running knockoff gates with great results though, anyone running one who can let me know how it holds up?
  3. Aww shucks not what I wanted to hear haha. Good too hear about the turbo though! In light of that, new price of $1000 firm! lol
  4. Hey mate, sorry I've got no receipt as I bought it all secondhand off an Ebay seller a while back. Unsure if it's genuine or not as I've never had the chance to suss out a genuine one myself but the build quality looks excellent, not sure if fakes are of this high quality or not though. Unsure about the second question, is the profile stamped on the turbo? Pretty sure all ATR45's are bush bearing though. Was never told who did the mani mod, weld look super solid though and it's a 2 into 1 design which shows they knew what they were doing somewhat. Got a pic of the wastegate here I'll try and grab one of the mani asap. Cheers
  5. Hi guys, up for sale is a Hypergear ATR45 on a modded stock mani running a 44mm Tial gate. Turbo has done approx. 5000kms (zero shaft play) and gate is brand new. Comes with V-band dump adapter. Exhaust housing still has internal gate hole so if your not going to use the v-band adapter it will need to be welded up. Looking for $1200 ono. Cheers
  6. Nah no bov. But, I found the fix! The 90mm throttle body spline was a fraction smaller than the stock skyline spline, which isn't obvious at a glance, which left a small amount of play in the TPS. So months of driving like ass was fixed by a dab of hot glue! hahaha
  7. Hey guys, had this problem for a while now and it's doing my head in. Mods are as follows: Usual front mount, pod, exhaust, upgraded fuel pump, Greddy knockoff intake with 90mm throttle body. That's about it I think. Anyways, when taking off on light throttle under load, the car will just die in the ass until I give it more throttle it will come back to life. Also has a brief delay in throttle response when revving in neutral. Changing the TPS values seems to alter the point at which the problem will occur. I've tried another TPS and the problem persists. The TPS is held there in a pretty dodgy fashion although it does remain in a static position and the readings it gives off don't seem erratic etc. Another thing is if it's held at a certain rev range, around 2500rpm, it will act like it's in limp mode and bounce off of 2500rpm back and forth. Also, I'm aware it's the greatest thing running a mod like a FFP/TB whilst on stock ecu but seems to be doing okay and it's somewhat temporary, hopefully getting it on the dyno in the not too distant future. But really need to iron out this problem before that can happen. I'm thinking it's either afm or tps related but have as previously mentioned, tried two different TPS's with the same result and have also resolder the joints in the AFM, but that doesn't rule it out obviously. For the record, plugged my Nistune ecu in and there no fault codes and sensor parameters seemed fine.Although I did get a TPS fault once or twice when mashing the throttle quickly but I'm not too sure if that's out of the ordinary. A lot to take in I know but any help is appreciated, this problem is driving me insane. Cheers
  8. Hey mate, are these the same style ones as up on Ebay? NEO sizing? Or are they side feed? Cheers
