  1. English is not my native language but I clearly read that a 2JZ way can't be implemented which they finally did. Changed a spline profile a bit just not to look too stupid.
  2. If a politician changes his beliefs to the opposite, he is called a prostitute. How to comment this attached screenshot? ?
  3. Both solutions will work. Hope Nitto uses a proper steel for gears. Their flat ones break. Round shapes in the new Nitto splines are a hype to my point of view.
  4. They just showed it on exhibition. See attached file. Now they have to erase all previous threads they wrote it won't work. They even copied grab screws recommended in Supertec's spline drive installation manual.? Oval teeth profile is probably to avoid design copy comments ?
  5. Finally Nitto made a splined drive kit. After all these years. ? And after saying it doesn't work. Sounds funny now.
  6. Supertec makes their gears in Russia where they were selling since 2013, far earlier than Spool. Plus Spool only makes OEM and N1 while Supertec did many others (including Toyota UZ) from the beginning. Just to be fair. R35 coil kits are made by many manufacturers: PRP, Wiring Specialties and others. Probably not less than 7. Supertec's kit looks a bit different. Why did they copy Aussien kit? Any arguments? Now it looks like crapping on the one in favour of the other ?
  7. Interesting fact. Tomei used a splined drive to assemble its RB28 Genesis engine. They posted it in their Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/BxhU8bTp0-T/?igshid=1xc6fz6e6cnkt&fbclid=IwAR3EzTYqB0Q6xOEnthVFXshTnb63MJ00rl4lRXJTl__xHmVZElNUq0XSnKE
  8. Got a Nitto pump with spline drive gears. Should be a failsafe upgrade.
  9. This is a Supertec installation manual (attached). Not sure if it works for Spool. Supertec_Splined_Drive_Manual.V4.1.pdf
  10. Strange that Spool doesn't have the installation manual for their kit.
  11. As far as I know Spool makes kits only for old 81mm OEM and N1 pumps, while Supertec does for all pumps, except maybe HKS and Reimax. Also Supertec makes a high flow N1 splined kit with wider back plate, so pump flows 6 liters per minute more. Black painted kits are Spool, genuine metal finish for Supertec. So Tomei, Jun/Nitto/Greddy pumps owners have only a Supertec option.
  12. If these are not commercially produced spline drive oil pump gears, so what is this?
