I don't know enough about wheels, suspension or spacers to be of an use here, but glad that you only had this minor amount of damage.
I shudder to think if it had let go at high speed...I am happy that you can post it up here though, sounds like you got off reasonably lightly all factors considered.

Here are some comparison cars for you;

Legit, GTRs spend half their life being transported to mechanics...Poor timing though. If only it had made it 99% of the way. You could have parked it, dropped the keys off then casually mentioned, by the way it doesn't run now.
Hopefully it's just a replacement for you. Better to happen now than while you're out blasting around in the hills.

Yeah. I have times when I just up and leave the project for an hour/day whatever it might be. Especially if i am stuck. I find that ignoring it completely will make me want to go back out and give it another go after a little time has passed.
There are times when I will work through a problem by slowing down and looking at the issue one small bit at a time and sometimes it's a case of head inside, ignore or youtube it and then go back for another crack.
I often find I will jump from car stuff to artwork to xbox so as not to get bored with any one thing.

the sweet embrace of the more mature car audience.. ahhh
Ummm, mature... sure, why not? ?
What an excellent write up. I didn't even have to ask for pictures!!! Can't wait to hear more from you.
I also feel you on that growing up, buying a more mature car, then ditching it. My "mature moment" lasted two years. Something about old Nissan's brings you back round again.- 1

I'm sure an Auto Elec can extend it for not much money. They would have the correct guage wire and the correct crimp terminals.
If I recall correctly it's actually the terminals that cost decent money. -

He he yep I did a search and this thread came up.
You did a search? No one searches... Cue: the same question over and over...
I must say, i'm very spoiled being in Melbourne. There's United E85 dotted around in most locations. I feel bad for the rest of the country though... Good thing too my range is about 150km.

The GTS4 with a 26 is close enough for me.
Sweet car and build so far.
You'll find that if you drive your car even slightly hard, this will also perform at the same level as a GTR driven by some other owner. I consistently have guys up my chuff in GTSTs. When I ask how, they say... i dunno, i just threw it in and it stuck.Non GTR skyline owners are some of the maddest, most capable, most lose units out there and can show up a GTR cause they're not afraid to bin it... (no offence, not saying that's you).

Tipping maybe some of this forum too(said the least mechanical person ever).

This argument rages on to this day here... just ask away. Plenty of people with opinion's here!

You serious? Take a car that's a 10 out of 10 on decent rims, add wide-body, weird headlights, taillights and insane wing, the car drops from 10 out of 10 to a 7 out of 10.
(yes, yes, i know opinions are opinions, i just disagree... strongly).

Hmmm, img_0483 movie... f**k it! I'll live dangerously, download!
That is sounding real nice.

This is the opposite of slack. Renos are the worst. They're great fun and so exciting for the first hour. Then once the destruction phase is over... boooo!

Oooh, i like the green. It looks cool, unusual, love it. Welcome.

Me too... I have no idea what it's doing. Of course, i don't often have time to look at it though.
