  1. My apologies, it was a faulty sensor so they didnt have to take the clocks out. Relief, finally something positive associated with this car.....too few and far between so far. It's done nothing but stress me the **** out since I got it Sorry guys, i think I need a holiday, aus would be nice. I wish. Was there in 95. My fave place to date.
  2. Faulty water temp dial: R33 GTR Nismo clocks SO my car has nismo white faced clocks and the water temp dial is irratic, it reads very high although the actual running temp is well within the safe range..... Does anybody have any idea if the white dial face can be separated from the temp gauge and fitted to another one that has a black face? I think the fuel level and water temp share the same dial face and due to ocd, 2 black dials would drive me mad. Cheers
  3. Cheers......couple of shots. Its came a long way since I got it but still has a long way to go
  4. Another lurker from England Hello, Not sure when I joined up here but have came here for a wander round. I bought an r33 gtr vspec in July last year and has took around 6 months to be put back on the road. Was missing an engine and gearbox when I got it and while a new engine was being built, I upgraded a couple of things. Its still on a run in map which is boring as I am limited to 4000rpm (link g4+ limit set at 5500rpm) but I noticed it had a misfire between 2-3000rpm under load so it is back at the garage 120 miles away having that and a few other things addressed. Id never driven a skyline until the day I went to pick it up a few weeks ago so its all new to me. Did around 145 slow miles and have about 500 to go before the oils changed and the map tweaked with the limiter taken off. Be good when its ran in so I can familiarise myself with it and see what all the fuss is about. Not sure its been worth all the hassle so far but haven't really had a chance to get to know it yet. People keep telling me it will be worth it in the end, I live in hope. Bit of a long-winded hello but there you go, Cheers
