  1. Alright thanks, I'll check it out and have a look today
  2. Yeah, I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure wether or not it's stock or an aftermarket unit. Here's the key and immobiliser button.
  3. I'll have to have a look at that one because I'm honestly out of all ideas. Would mine have this relay box under my dash? Or would it be elsewhere?
  4. Car won't start. Immobiliser problem? So last night I drove to my gym at about 10pm and everything was running perfectly. Haven't had any dramas like this before. As I went to leave the gym and turn on my car, I found it wouldn't even remotely turn over. Now I have an immobiliser in my 03 V35. Have no idea if its stock or not. Basically when I turn my key so far it makes a constant clicking noise until I depress my immobiliser button and then all the dash lights and eveything works and then that allows me to start the car. However, last night it wouldn't even do that. I turn the key and nothing happens. No clicking noise or anything and I can't disable the immobiliser. I tried to do a little research and I've seen people with some similar issues but not the same. It's not the transponder in my key because I replaced that a few months ago as I lost it.. the central locking etc still works. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Is it the immobiliser or something else?
  5. Will post a photo of the tyre tomorrow in the morning
  6. Alignment is good and has recent been done tyre pressure i normally check every few weeks. Normally it's only out by 1psi or something small.
  7. Everything's In good nick, I've just recently done a 200k service and gone over so many parts to get replaced. Runs perfect still
  8. Tyre exploded (Nitto Invo) So I'm not the most experienced guy with this shit but I'd like someone to give some advice and help clear some things up for me. Less than 12 months ago I purchased a set of 4 Nitto Invo tyres. Up until now they were great. So today I was driving up the pacific motorway until a motorcycle passed indicating for me to pull over. As soon as I got out I could smell one of the tyres. Rear left had popped on the inner edge of the tyre. There is slightly more ware in that area because there's obviously a slight camber on the rear wheels. So since I have had these wheels I have not misused them at all. Not even one burnout or anything. Ended up getting towed to a safer place to put my spare on which unfortunately is a cheese wheel... Drove all the way to the tyre place where I got them last year and basically to be told it's my fault because something called "scalloping" which wouldn't come under warranty. Which kind of pissed me off because that's less than a year on a tyre that costs $200. Prior to these I had michillen tyres on the same suspension and everything and they lasted me for more than two years. Like I said, I'm not the most experienced person with this but surely I would've thought the wheel should've had a longer life span out of it otherwise I wouldn't have paid that much for a tyre. If anyone is able to clear this up and give me a little insight I'd appreciate it.
  9. Exhaust problem or not? I recently had high flow cats installed about 4 weeks ago. Two weeks after that I started to hear an odd sound that sounds like puffs of air through the exhaust. If I floor it at a low rev you can just constantly hear these puffs of air. It feels like there's almost a loss of power too. i took it back to the exhaust shop and they mentioned that two gaskets had a leak so they were replaced and also there's a loose nut in my muffler too. I have a JIC muffler but they recommended for me to get a new one. He said he had to re thread the bit and tighten it. since then the issue went away but it's Coke back again and it's pissing me off haha. Can even hear the puffs of air while I'm idle. Also usually first thing in the morning you don't notice it until about 10 minutes of driving. Could it possibly be a spark plug issue?
  10. Burning smell & Error codes Hi boys, new to the forum. I have a question and I know there's been posts about this before but I couldn't find anything related to my issue what so ever. Friday just passed on the way home from work I could notice a slight burning smell of rubber or plastic. At first I didn't worry too much because t could've been from one of the cars around me as it was peak hour traffic. However, the smell followed the whole way home. Since then I am avoiding driving it until Tuesday week. The smell will only start after about 5 minutes of driving, I wouldn't say it's an electronical problem as surely something would've happened already and I would've noticed. Just assuming. I couldn't see a plastic bag stuck to my exhaust but I didn't get a proper look as my car is too low. The smell more so comes from the driver side but I can't pin where it's coming from and when I look and smell through the engine bay I can barely smell where it is. Two weeks prior, I had some high flow cats installed so I'm not sure if that might possibly be part of the issue either. If anyone has any rough idea or have experienced that issue it would be good to know. Im booked in with Hi Power Racing next week, I might have to wait until then. Thanks
