well i took mine to the exhuast shop today and it seems they will be able to modify it, i dont really wanna drive all the way out to the switch to get it, if it was the wrong sized flange type, that is the problem i have now, the dump pipe is a 3" dump pipe, and the front pipe is 3" on the cat end and it goes down th 2 1/2 " on the dump pipe end, bcoz its designed to fit up to the standard dump pipe not an after market one.

the cruise i see is to bribie island, and why wold u go any other way to bribie island than straight up the hway. its a meet and greet, nothing else. good food, good company, and a friendly chat, withother owners, and check out there cars. seems pretty simple to me.

well shane if i have to buy another pipe i mite take u up on that offer. ill let u know if they cant do anything with the one i have now. will it bolt up to a 3" dump pipe flange though??

u forget i live on the sunny coast or i would, its not worth driving down to bris just for a 2 min weld job, i know ppl who can weld up here, plus the exhuast shop will be able to do it for me, im gonna drop it in 2moro to them anyway. bcoz the car doesnt go in till friday morning, so they can get it ready 2moro.

so do u reckon i should see if sum1 can cut where the weld is and attach another bit of 3" pipe to the flange, and even replace the flange if needed??? to make it 3"

Hmm i got my dump pipe today, but i now have another problem... it doesnt fit the front pipe......i didnt realise but the front pipe flange has a smaller inlet than 3" doh!.....

so did u have an idea that the motor has been pulled apart before for a dodgy rebuild?? and say hypothetically, u were to use the stock bottom end again, can it be rehoned now its been 50thou over bored??

bah too al u. my dump pipe arrived today but i cant get it from the post office till 2moro, i work 8-5, and the post office is only open from 9-5, what do i do.....i hope they let my mum get it for me otherwise im screwed, il have to try and dodgy a few mins off work to duck home and try and get it.

the only reason im asking is, since i live on the sunshine coast do i have to travel all the way to nudgee shell to drive all the way back to bribie island, kinda doesnt make sense really. but if every1 is coming up the bruce hway then i can just tag along on the way.
