  1. It works fine now. Simply remove and re-insert the radio fuse near the battery did the trick. Although I removed and check all fuses as well and there is no blown fuse.
  2. After Market Headuni dies Hi All, Suddenly there is no power to my headunit which had been running fine untill now. Could you guys please provide a procedure where I can start troubleshoot with? This headunit is installed by previous owner hence I have no knowledge on how it was set up. Regards, Wayne
  3. FYI, rough idle usually can be fixed by cleaning the Throttle Body and performing idle relearn procedure. Then after doing all that and the issue is still there then the Cam/Crank shaft sensors are next to be looked at. My mechanic and I went through the whole eliminating process to narrow down the root cause. Hope that helps.
  4. I think there might be something wrong with the Camshaft/CrankShaft sensor as well and it is a factory-recall reported issue for our car model. My mechanic managed to narrow it down to which one specifically and my car has been running fine since then. He is based in Bankstown. I'll inbox you the full address if you are still interested
  5. I suggest you take it back to the mechanic and have him check whether 1. There is any oil leak into the sparkplug chamber 2. Engine Compression for any leak, if there is then an engine rebuild is required which might cost thousands. In my case my mechanic is able to fix it with a few hundreds without having to rebuild and my car still performs well. Is there any stutter with the rev during idle?
  6. I bought this bad boys 1-2 months ago. The mechanic told me it's genuine OEM when he received the parts from me. I paid 200$ for labour. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252153035501?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Hope that helps.
  7. Heaps on Gumtree, try key word nissna skyline v35, there is a wreckyard in revesby with one recently.
  8. After the coils (all 6 of them I assume) and sparksplug change, the misfire should be gone then if the car still stutters then it's more likely there is a low compression on that cylinder. A low compression might be the cause of many things from the engine internal parts itself. I had the same thing happened just a couple of month ago and went through the whole process. Luckily my guy was able to fix that problem without having to rebuild the whole engine. Good luck
  9. Mate I had the same problem as yours couple of months ago. For all the engine, vdc and slip lights are one, I suspect it is the Brake Oil level is not high enough.
