  8. Ye I had the same difficulty when I was trying to find dust covers. I ended up getting Pedders one, they work ok if you like bright red! haha. As far as bump stops I also went to Nissan and they were quite expensive. Maybe keep a eye out on here for people selling used shocks cheap. So did the Bilsteins not come with bump stops?
  9. I was going to say we know how oil changes viscosity due to a temperature change (e.g. engine oil) could this be happening in the shocks as well? As the temperature drops it gets thicker and doesn't work as well. Although you would think the engineers at Nissan would have taken that into account. I haven't heard of this happening before though. Have you had the car in winter before?
  10. Ye to change the shocks/springs is pretty easy. 1 bolt down near the hub and two up the top in the strut tower/engine bay. Does give a bit of a kick when you knock it of the bottom stud thing. Front sway bar is also pretty easy I just needed to remove the castor rods which were 3 bolts total from memory, and then remove the exisiting one. These two things were a good introduction to installing suspension products yourself.
  11. Ye I agree. It would be good for you to notice the difference each modification makes. Try without any handling mods. Then I would probably start with the basic first e.g. a good coilover set (or sepatate shock/spring combo). Then some sway bars, castor rods, pineapples, etc etc. You will be amazed at how some of these mods affect the car. Something I have always wanted to try.
  12. Ye my shocks were leaking as well. Made the car horrible to drive. I wouldnt waste my time trying to fix the standard shocks (if you even can) as they are pretty cheap to buy second hand from wreckers or often from here. Suspension shop really should of told you. Im sure they noticed it!
  13. +2 for bov. When my mate put his atmo bov on it ran like crap and would pop around. Took it off and problem went away. In general most skylines owners I have talked to don't like the atmo bov's because it makes the car run funny.
