Thanks kiwirs4t! I unplugged the maf and yep turned over straight away! Only problem now is it wont stay on when plugged back in? And diagnostics code is showing afm fault. I bought another 2nd hand afm and same problem?!

R33 rough idle, wont start now Hi guys Having issues with an r33 gtst series 1.5 manual i bought a couple of weeks back as a bit of a project. I bought it and when i did it had avery rough idle but could still rev it and whatnot it would stall whenever going into gear though Since buying i noticed the oil smelt like fuel.. So i have New fuel, fuel filter, spark plugs, oil and filter, coilpacks Ive tried to run a diagnostic using the consultation plug but i dont get any engine light flashing to read and codes? I checked globe and its fine Also took cat off to make sure it wasnt a blocked cat Occasionally it will start but idle is so low it seems like the cars not even on maybe runs 200rpm Could my ecu be stuffed? What else should i try? Car is stock.
