Just an update, located the sensor,the problem was the insulation on the harnes was melted because of how close it was routed to the exhaust

vq25 problems I drive a Nissan Teana with a vq25 engine, recently the engine light came on, i had it diagnosed and the code was p0197which is the engine oil temp sensor, the trouble is we can't seem to locate the sensor, I'm hoping someone here can shed some light.
