  1. you headed to mallala this weekend? i hope the weather is going to be at least not raining this weekend. Thinking bout touching up the paint on saturday and drifts sunday. I might give the rally a miss this year. well, thats my intentions anyways.
  2. thanks mate, wish i had a 3 phase too. Yeah ive hired one before, but some panels turned out not as i liked hence the thread. Guess, i will need to hire again then. duc
  3. thats fantastic news. bet you have a grin from one ear to the other.
  4. i honestly cant remember but just know that it was 12 cfm electric compressor. i think it was 3hp. A wells im just gonna have to hire another one i guess since its my last resort. Just bought rego the other day and its begging to be driven =D coming back to adelaide anytime soon?
  5. hopefully at the end of this week pending weather. Got some installs/maintenance to do as well so yeah. btw andrew has posted up a list of spec on his air compressor, you thinks thats suffiecent sam or do you need to see it to look at cfm - would give us an excuse to see andrew's car also. =D you in adelaide/murray atm?
  6. did my replies to your pm regarding location/time come through richo?

    Learning Japanese

i mentioned kanji b/c hiragana/katakana is not used or widely used as kanji. yes, get the basic done. You can understand/get the idea of a sentence if you can pick up certain characters in it.
  9. regarding hanging all over the track, i dont want to be like in those clips i see on the net where a spectator wonders onto the track and gets clipped/dodged by the rally car b/c his/she was too close. hehehehe how embarassing would that be, telecasted to all to see how you got owned. !!!

    Learning Japanese

the best way to learn japanese is to either go to japan itself and talk with the locals and familiarise yourself with certain dilects depending on where you are or talk to a native japanese person in Australia. Talking is the only way to learn japanese - orally anyways. Writing and reading is another thing in which if you cannot master the art of reading kanji, keep trying until you do. These are my experience in learning japanese anyways so take it with a grain of salt.
  11. 2 seperate sections? even better. access to food/drinks, seating and rally view sounds like an ideal combination.

    Drunk in Osaka

wel then i guess ill just have to wait until your tuner arrives in adelaide. wouldnt mind speaking to him/them myself.
  13. you must be a girl if it pissed you off. but seriously, if that indeed was not a set up surely those girls wouldnt be wondering around by themselves in deserted locations. abit suspicious to me. never the less, funny while disturbing.
  14. i completely agree on so many levels. movie was a massive dissapointment which im not surprised about considering it came out of china/hk as it seems it was only made for a quick buck which unfortunately wasnt exciting.
  15. to those who have previously been to the sa rally, which spot do you recommend watching from since i would figure that you only see they go by once in a while.
  16. thanks andrew much appreciated. they dont mean nothing to me either only the cfm matters, ill ask sam if its sufficient. Again, thanks andrew ill take you up on the offer hopefully. btw why havent u used it yet, impluse buy??
  17. best thing to do is install your avcr first, if you know how to do it yourself then you will save money right there. when the pfc comes, drive it to the workshop/tuner and then replace you stock one with the pfc right there, in which cause would save you more money then having them install it for you in which even my younger brother can do. Its just a matter of removing the old ecu and plugging in the pfc - hence plug n play.
  18. ive already done that mate. hired a heater and compressor. i successfully sprayed one front panel and front bar but felt that the others were not how i would have liked it to be. thus why im asking someone if i could borrow a compressor for a few days or else i would have to donate that money to kenndards and the likes. plus now i have a gravity feed spray gun whereas i had a siphon one before. would make life easier since i can now spray bodykits at home, yiipeee.
  19. i dont think it would be that hard unless you would rather pay someone else to do it. i painted my calipers myself - piece of cake, and have painted the front of my sil80 myself which sam though was resonable ok - well the one that i though didnt need attention which i was quite happy coming from a spray painter himself.
  20. andrew, have you read my thread regarding air compressor?? =D
  21. that exactly what i had in mine for myself
  22. follow the link and clicky clicky on the catalogue button at the bottom. description of stock is pretty vague.
  23. im sure you can do it yourself andrew. go on. there was someone on this forum who did it themselves with a spray can - i bet that put you off straight away didnt it, to his spokes much like what you do to your calipers. But if you want the silky factory coloured look, use a spray gun which i guess sam would be the one to do it. im sure he's still in Adelaide atm.
  24. sam is on holidays andrew, he wont be painting for a while. jk entire wheel mirror polished as in no coloured spokes?
