  1. Money.
  2. Engine oil thread is the first one.
  3. But but but the book says use Nissan 10W-40 This shows the lack of understanding people have. Stick 0W-30 oil in the fridge for an hour (simulate a cold start in winter), then pour it. Then compare it to the flow of a 25W-60 oil that just came out of an engine (90 degC).
  4. You need to put an asking price up.
  5. Sounds like someone replaced the cluster and forgot to swap the bulbs.
  6. D-Jetro or still using AFM? If using AFM, try cleaning them/trying another pair. When mine started to play up, it would take a while to build boost (standard engine).
  7. Whoever did the wiring stuffed it up. Pull the radio out, check all surrounding wiring. Also check all links at the battery.
  8. C'mon lotto... lol
  9. Good thing I only drive ~30km a day. Used to do 500+km a week, was a killer.
  10. Yesterday morning drove past 7 Eleven Liverpool, price was $1.459/L for E10 (I think). Came back from work in the evening, price went up to $1.59/L 7 Eleven (Mobil) Liverpool; Tuesday, 22 July 2013 E10: 1.599 95: 1.709 98: 1.759
  11. Ah okay. Don't know why would want to run 80mm spacers though lol. I suppose if it's billet CNC'd then $200 all up is a good price (assuming that's for a pair).
  12. Sorry man, should've mentioned that the cars I mentioned are my friends. I have old Ohlins dampers and Eibach springs on my GT-R. Also have flogged out upper front arms so the experience isn't pleasant. S15 mate has the HSD AD dampers on full hard and it's still pretty comfy (on par with the Blitz on soft on S14 mate's car). Trust me, the AD will be better than any random Jap suspension for Sydney. I couldn't believe the ADs were that soft, perfect for street (good body control and ripple control). Plus, it's a thousand bucks. Wind it up and down until you're happy with height. Win in; go for it!
  13. Well I have Falken FK452 on the front of my GT-R (old Potenza TS-02 on the rear, came with the wheels) in 265/35/18. So my opinion (brand new tyres): FK452 > KU31 > 595 SS. The Federals were pretty decent when new (215/45/17) but about 50% worn and onwards they were shit (one year old). KU31s are heaps good throughout the life of the tyre. I also had Nexen N8000 (Ozzy tyres bait and switched me, but I was desperate hahaha, same price as KU31 though) on the front of my GT-R in 265/35/18. Grip about the same as KU31 when cold (dry), but overheated very quickly. Same grip level in the wet. Went bald really quickly (within 10,000 km), so I wouldn't bother with it, get KU31 or FK452 if you can find them cheap instead. I have new Dunlop Sports Maxx in 235/45/17 and 245/45/17 for my R31 but haven't driven it yet as I need to roll the guards first. Will report back when that car is on the road again. Potenza TS-02 are okay on the track, nothing special, it is a street tyre.
  14. For years I played Gran Turismo, watched videos and even imagined I was driving a GT-R before I got mine. Just have to be patient. Just remember to put on equal length front pipes
  15. Me too. I use the tow points for the front and the diff/subframe mount points for the rear.
  16. Penrite = Aussie. Support Australian company!
  17. Got a GT-R (clock) cluster surround in good nick?
  18. This is why you post pictures of the actual item you are selling (not something you found on the net).
  19. I have one laying around but I'm in Sydney. PM me if you're interested.
  20. Or you could get these: http://www.gktech.com/index.php/5x114-3-spacers-15mm-30mm-8-piece-set.html
  21. R32 doesn't have VCT Try a known working AFM.
