  1. Hi, Wheels arrived from Japan. 18x9.5 +15 old skool The SSR Type C were released in a gunmetal colour (and a bronze and gold). really wanted the colour code.... Contacted SSR via emails and facebook message to their 3 sites. most wont reply. and one in Aus says they wont give out the information. Might just have to go some custom gunmetal. . . Bagh frustrating. ranged from $100 to $300 aud per wheel for the work =/ Good reviews on google of "alliance rim repair".
  2. What a mental Jap noodle add. . like seriously funny shit. . i want some!
  3. Bagh, Was at Sir James Mitchell Park at like 4 pm waiting for you guys then I got hit from left field with email at 5:30 saying its at City west. Anyway got uber there and caught up with you guys which was great. Nice group of people very welcoming, thanks guys =D I did Remove my coil pack engine cover and tie up the igniter yesterday just before the cruise. Heard that they get hot and can cause issues. Will leave it off for the time being. Anyway took the car out last night from 10 to 11pm. Just through the tunnel and up down freeway, down west coast. Ran fine didn't have any of that loose of power fluttering rpm's. (think issue is still there. . or will come back). But was fun drive. Puts such a big smile on my face. Love that car. . . Will see you all next drive. or ill put up a post when my new wheels come. PS Thanks again ELLE for the drink I owe you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  4. Yeah they need to bend like 20mm each end to fit in front bumber. . stupidly large Aus plates =/ Either cut or bend. . dont know what cops would think. . . . but considering only been pulled over once in 15 years driving. . . this is different car though =/ been looking at custom plates but NFI what to get. . . blegh gonna sit on fence for this one.
  5. I'm 10 min from the Perth city. If i'm invited ill come. Keen as mustard =D Think will be easier small cruise. last one of 40+ ppl would be little off putting. (not easy to manage) But yeah, just catch up with cars have chat. if all things go well have a meal or drive or what-ever. =D
  6. Umm. . . Been thinking about it. . . not sure. . need to look into it more. . Its all personal preference. . Think id feel little weird with custom. want to remain random. . like not stand out. . might change my mind. . . eg. know a guy with a supra who took to speedway. Reckons he did under 10sec. (whether this is true doesn't really matter) Supposedly because the car is that fast cant bring it back unless he has a roll cage. .(i don't know if this is all true). But he had custom plates and reckons he gets pulled over alot. . . .
  7. Here are some pics. . . You should really see the video of my reaction when I first saw the car =D Bought some ze40's Got a weird size though. . . 17x8.5 +30 i think. . . Then after getting Anonymouse post bought a spare set of SSR type C (I reckon they fkn hot. . .) 18x9.5+15. Bought in Japan.. they gay gold colour will get them blasted painted probably gun metal + new stickers. . Spent nights and nights researching wheels. . mainly weights. . these 2 are super light weight. There is lighter but they dont look as sick as these. . Buddy club almost impossible to find. . Oz racing wanted some stupid price like $3,800 for the last set in aus. pfft. . just got Rays ze's Burning the credit card on car gear lol. all part of the fun.. Still havent taken it for a (proper) drive yet. . . =/ only to get paper work for licence application. So its not really driving. . no plates on the car so felt like a criminal. . and now i have the plates so.. Just need to chop or bend them to fit though.
  8. Thanks!! Will buy them online =D
  9. OH bit of a lame question. . . . Anyone know if 18 x 9.5 +15 sit ok on R32 gtr. . .? Original wheels 17x8 +30 These new ones go inwards (towards suspension strut) 4mm and poke out off guard 34mm. . (34 mm sounds like ALOT) Wont rub or look crap. . .?
  10. Hey peeps, Just got myself a R32. . Really want to see some other skylines in WA and get some ideas about good modifications and some aftermarket ideas for the car. Anyone keen for a drive and chat about the cars (metro area between 11- 18th April?) Lots to chat about. . . was such a mission obtaining one of these cars. . . Now stuck with something nice I shouldn't modify 0_o and all I want to do is single turbo it lol. Cheers.
  11. Car is look good. . the 'shit' is making progress. . jks Much better than when ya started on it. Nice to see it getting improved slowly. Hope your enjoying the work your doing to it =D They are big money sinks. . Someone smart on this forum said if your buying a gtr you need the money for a second to just keep it going. . . I think its the mods, repairs, bringing a 20+yr old car back to its former race spec days costs. . When the paint is done and those lights go on, will look 100 times better. . OR i could picture this ride in candy apple paint with 22inch chromies YEAH BOI
  12. Hey, last cruise was 2 months ago. SAU WA section is really quiet. . . . I just got plates on my 32. Would be really nice to see what rides are out in WA and talk about modifications. Not as much aftermarket gear or wrecked skyline's as over east =/ Anyone want to go for a drive around metro area between 11- 18th April? OR Can one of the ranked (old school) members start plans / thread for new Cruise!!?!?!? Cheers.
