  1. This is what you really want!
  2. Novice question time! Why are the GT badges on the front guards different colours & what do they stand for? I think there are gold, blue & red, correct me if I'm wrong! Cheers
  3. As I was doing the rounds of the local wreckers, I found one that had a V35 in the yard which they haven't stripped yet. I grabbed the brake light out of it and got them to test which all LEDs worked. I ended up getting it for $60NZD. As long as I can at least a couple of years out of it I'll be happy.
  4. Jaycar is only down the road from home. But they out of stock due to being a discontinued line. I'll just get an aftermarket one and be done with it.
  5. If I can't get red LEDs, then I'll try and get a piece of red transparent plastic to fit inside the original clear plastic case as Vee37 mentioned. Let's just hope Jaycar has what I'm after.
  6. Checked out the above website and it looks promising so I will give it a go over the weekend. So then, it leaves me one question, where does the red come from?
  7. Tried to take it apart as far as I could and found nothing that seemed out of place. $450NZD for a new one, I offered to sell a kidney but nobody wanted it! I think i'll just get a aftermarket one and try to make it look like its made for the car.
  8. Managed to get it out through the boot, took about half hour. Bit of a hassle getting the 2nd screw out. Got somebody else to push the pedal down as well as wiggling the wires but nothing. Would a V36 light work?
  9. How would one go about taking it out to be able to check it out?
  10. Hi there, my hi-stop light has stopped working in the 2005 sedan, can it be fixed or will I need to get a new one?
  11. Infiniti has an identity crisis because a lot that are arriving here have the Infiniti grill and badges on the front but have the Skyline badges on the back.
  12. I'm afraid the order got a bit confused! Got others if you want a look.
  13. This is held at the Tiu Brewery (as well as other car meets) each year.
  14. Got it from the car yard down the road. Do they know themselves of any history of the cars they sell?
  15. It was a tad under 50k when I bought it. I wanted a low kilometer car and this had fit the bill.
  16. Just to show how many Ks it has done being a 2005.
  17. Here is a image of the back of the mirror as best as I could showing wiring under the cable tie. It's the bit that attaches to the windscreen that is broken. It's where the mirror fits into it.
  18. That's what I thought. At the moment the mirror is held up by a cable tie until I can get a new one. A new mirror will cost $350 from Nissan which comes from OZ. Disconnect your connection and then you will see what I mean.
  19. Hello there, I was cleaning the inside of my windscreen when I bumped the mirror. Didn't think much of it until I went to drive the car and the mirror started drooping. Must of bumped it a bit to hard cause it had pulled the mirror out of its socket (which broke) on the bit that is glued to the screen, which means I' m having to buy a new complete unit. Is the wires coming out the back of it to do with the key fob? I had it disconnected and nothing would work when I used the fob. Will I either have to change the mirror or reprogram the sender if that is the case?
  20. Hi, what is it like when you put it in drive and press the fast pedal?
