  1. Hello Has anyone got a drift blade R34 GTR style seat for sale? or are local to JDMgarage in Queensland? as they have one I need it shipping to me In the U.K. Urgently Thanks
  2. Hello Has any one got a spare Drift Blade or East Bear R34 GTR seat available? I'm only after 1 seat, no rails, and condition of the seat fabric is not important as long as i can retrim it and the structure is A1, no collapsed bolsters or anything. Thanks Jamie
  3. Update************ I only need R34 GTR side skirts now, oem pair.. without front parts. Just the long pieces needed Will cover shipping Someone must have a pair somewhere Let me know
  4. Thanks for that info. Obviously I want the rear to be as strong as can be so is the R33 GTR diff and shafts not the only things needed to upgrade the rear to a GTR 4.1 diff? If these 3x2 shafts I have aren’t very strong for big power then I will change them if that’s the case is it a case of them having the car in the air and seeing what I have, then they’ll know what parts il need, to use a GTR diff
  5. Yeah it’s not easy to research when the cars in having the engine put in il ask them to check what is R33 GTR, Stagea and R34 so I have s better idea
  6. Iv heard of Quaiffe but don't know much about them. I take it they specialize in Helical diff's. I was going to leave the front diff stock to begin with anyway whether its 4.1 or 4.3, but the Rear i was going to upgrade 100% Il have a look at the Quaiffes and have a read up
  7. I have Cusco diffs in mine. They're tight as anything. 1 way in the front and 1.5 in the back. They seem to do the job well. Okay thanks, so for say the front diff, i can order an R33 GTR front diff and itll go in my 4.1 from the NEO Turbo 4wd engine or do i need to go for a stagea front 4wd diff fitment? Rear isn't a problem as iv seen many options for that Its the front that seems confusing. The engine i'm buying is just down as an RB25DET Neo 4wd.. doesn't say if its from an R34 or Stagea.. I take it both diffs for the front are the same for them, just not sure if the GTR front diff internals will go in there
  8. I have about 4 months to decide so il consider the 4.1 If I go 4.1, Which would be the best diff to go for from the GTR’s? An R33?
  9. I have a lot to do before I decide what ratio but I might try 4.3 first, If i’m not happy I will just change to 4.1 There’s always stock for a GTR diff and rear shafts so il be fine if I need to get hold of them
  10. Arr i see, sorry thought you were 4wd.. slightly lost track of who has what in these comments. Do you have the normal Kaaz or the WPC treated super Q in yours? And yeah tyre's do help, the super Q transformed my GTT. I have 295 35 18 PS2's on the rear which are good but i think there's still room for improvement with the supersports or the PS4S if i could get hold of them sizes.. there supposed to be mega sticky even in crap conditions. Yeah the 4wd is the only reason iv bought this car so i can put the power down much better and use it more My GTT isn't worth taking out unless its a dry sunny day and the roads are better.. too much rain and greasy roads because of buses, so if it gets moist.. full boost is pointless on rwd My M5 has a great mech LSD diff in it and they bring the torque in later so they let you put some power down before all hell brakes lose.
  11. Yeah sounds great, thanks for the heads up. I'm looking forward to the 4.3 as when i typed it online, it seems a fair few people have tried to convert 4.1 to 4.3 so must be for good reason. My car will never see a track anyway, i strictly drive road only and the odd beating on a dual or motorway but nothing serious. Traction will be because your running the stock 1 wheel spinning diff still aren't you? If i put the super Q 1.5 way in the back, being 4wd it should grip better than a stock GTR shouldn't it? Thanks
  12. Yeah sounds like we will mate. Thanks and yes will update on the progress with the car, still tracking parts down atm I do like the E60 and E61 M5 touring are always lovely to see but over here we have so many that are unreliable and breaking all the time, from rod bearing failure, bottom end knocking and vanos lines coming off causing lots of issues and the gearbox having issues also, So i wasn't brave enough to buy one. Always been a manual gearbox guy tbh and fell in love with the E39 M5 at an early age so i think its the right one for me. Do you get the manual gearbox E6x M5 over there like america or not? Best regards
  13. Is the exhaust R33 or R34 GTR? Think its possible to fit the Tomei Ti but just mod the end where it connects to the custom downpipe? Thanks
  14. Hi thanks for the input. Yeah i think 4.3 will be fine aswell. A coupe of guys over here in the UK said 4.3 is very nice unless you do commuting, but a road racing car or pleasure drive its a beast, so i thought might aswell try. Yeah i would imagine a loud exhaust would probably be annoying on a long run Can always change to 4.1 if i was that bothered but doubt i will be. I have the M5 with comfort massage seats for cruising long journeys. God that's quick for that rpm.. what is 1st - 4th like in acceleration and driveability around town street driving?
  15. Thanks mate, Yeah brilliant car. Best M5 they made. Thanks for the welcome
  16. Hi Thanks for that information, its very helpful. The hubs don't really bother me to be honest as long as their 5 stud and can run the wheels i want to use The coilovers im going to be ordering can be eye or fork, so il just check mine to make sure which are eye and which are fork if i have them. No hicas is a bonus for me as i deleted my R34 GTT hicas when i put the Mech LSD in and loved the drive. Didn't know about the speed sensor but what will this make a difference with? The master cylinder isn't a problem, there's plenty of BM57's over here so il have one put in, while the engines out as il be running big brakes so would like the same setup and feel as a GTR would with bigger brakes. Did you retrofit GTR sway bars i take it? What else is needed to do this besides the sway bars them selves? Yeah the stock diff will be awful but im putting in a Mech LSD 1.5w Super Q so that will bring the diff into its own league. Thanks for the info, was hoping a GT4 would pop up Cant wait for the car to turn up so i can have a good butchers at whats on it and whats not
  17. Hello Yeah im aware itll have no LSD but i was putting one in anyway. I'm going to put the 4wd NEO turbo engine in and swap over my 4.3 diff and put a super Q 1.5w Kaaz in the rear.. Il keep the 4.1 4wd sump that comes with the engine just in case i decide to change it over, and then il just buy a GTR diff and shafts.. which Isn't a problem. I don't do motorway driving in the car and i think the 4.3 will be fine for me. Kind of glad the car has no HICAS as i blocked mine out on my GTT anyway and i prefer it that way, so its one less thing to do and saves a bit of weight.
  18. Yeah definitely. Iv found some info such as them being a push clutch which I’m kind of glad as the push ones are cheaper One company I know in the U.K. actually have one there dismantling which gave some info but they have told me my suspension could be either R33 / R34 GTR front and rear or GTR fronts and GTST fork fitment rears, Diff is 4.3 but not sure if it’s a viscous lsd, but odds are it won’t be a mechanical but I’m replacing with a Kaaz super Q anyway, but I think il get a 4.1 case and shafts first so it’s running 4.1 front and rear. already spotted a 4wd Det NEO so looks like I’ll be going for that ? Brakes are sorted as I work with brake kits Going to fit Meister R coilovers, Hicas lock out etc I’m going to document what we find out on this car so it can help for future people who buy one of these im redoing nearly everything mechanical, Brakes, handling and Diffs so budget isn’t an issue Just wondered if 4.3 would of been road friendly or much different to 4.1 as otherwise I could of just swapped my front diff with the one that comes with my new engine I’ll sort it tho ??? Must admit the GT Four is a very interesting car as it’s a bit of a Pandora’s box but it does add to the charm
  19. Il just convert the rear to 4.1, as 4.1 will come with the engine I put in anyway Iv already got an M5 and a R34 GTT big single manual but I want a 4wd R34 Unfortunately I don’t have £50k to buy an R34 GTR otherwise I wouldn’t be doing this build Im selling my R34 GTT to partly fund the build with the GT Four which I can build for half the cost of a GTR34 and have the spec I want along with 4wd Just wanted info on the diffs that’s all as I’m not familiar with the 4.3 non turbo i haven’t just passed my test or trying to build a fast car with no money, I’m just asking questions from people who know more about skylines than me
  20. Yeah it’s controversial but the car looked odd without them on and I hate the GTT badges i always tell everyone it’s a GTT though with the GTR body ? I’m proud it’s running a NEO I love the Neo engine ?? yes sure send me a pm we have about 4 different kits to choose from 355 x 28mm - 380 x 32mm CP9540 Pro R rear kit CP8530 rear kit CP9040 rear kit RadiCAL ll rear kit All the best
  21. I’m going for around 550bhp but I never track my car How different would 4.3 behave to 4.1? Yeah probably will just go with a steel one again, just always loved the Ti exhaust.. heard a few before. okay thanks, any idea what size comes standard on the R34 GTFour. Is it same as R34 GTT you reckon?
  22. The car doesn’t arrive yet so I can’t check trying to find out in advance
