Could it be? The door light won't even turn on when I open the passenger's door? Are they all wired together so if one fails it all fails?

Hey guys, I'm having an electrical issue that I can't seem to figure out. So my interior light works fine in the on and off position, but when it's in the 'door' position, the light won't turn on when the door is open. The only time the door light on my dashboard works is when the car is on. I've attached a video down below, hopefully it explains my issue. Any insight to what it could be would be great. Hey all, My name is Aaron, just recently purchased an R34 Skyline 25GT-X Series 1 (first car) and am looking to learn as much as possible to maintain and customise the car. Being the third owner of the car, I don't know too much about it, but I do know its been manual converted and has had some coilovers installed. It's a little old and worn out, but more than happy to put in the time and effort to make it an amazing daily driver. Right now, I'm looking to get the centre console modified so I can put a double DIN stereo headunit in there. So if anyone would be able to direct me towards where I can get the GTT style climate control trim so I can get rid the old navi control console, that would be awesome!
