  1. The metal part is fine. It is the rubber bush has broken such that the diff (actually, it is a rear electric drive as the car is an Estima hybrid) moves up and down to make a knocking noise, particularly when start moving the car. The rubber bushing is also hard to source. I have asked a number car mechanics and they are unable to get the part. This is all the fun to drive an imported car.
  2. Yes you are right. Even conservatively one for 10 years, it would last 1000 years. The Alibaba suplier offer a sample for US$100.
  3. There is another supplier at https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/52380-28050-52380-28050-Wholesale-distributor_10000006136125.html. Any comment would be much appreciated.
  4. Anyone comment about this one: https://partsbypost.com/parts/toyota-5238028050?techType=car ?
  5. I have a Toyota Estima hybrid AHR20 2013. The diffrential arm bushing need replacing. The OEM differential arm part number is 52380-28050. Please let me know if you know anyone who can supply or supply and install the differential arm bushing. I have asked Febest Auto Parts, Auto-Parts and Auto Plus Parts, without any luck. Thank you in advance for any relevant information.
  6. I have noticed that the repair manual for Toyota Esitma hybrid AHR20 is available at http://en.estima.su/estima_hybrid_2006_AHR20_service_and_repair_manual.htm. Has anyone bought anything from this site? I would like to know whether this site is genuine or fake before make a payment. Please let me know if you know any other places that I could buy an English service / repair manual for this car.
  7. My suspecision is triggered by the fact that the agent passed me an invoice to pay, and not the auction record. On checking the USS auction record, the record for my car has been removed. Removing of an auction record is a paid service by USS. Why someone would pay to remove an auction reocrd, if it is not for the purpuse of hiding something? It is virtually impossible to tell whether an importing agent is trustworthy or not before doing a business with them.
  8. Sounds professional. We should all save PRIMO's contact details.
  9. Hi, my agent has bid for a car successfully for me from USS Nagoya, and has sent me an invoice to pay. As USS auctions are not publishing the results, how do can I find out the actual bid price? Does the USS auction give some paper to the agent as a proof of the bid price? What kind paperwork I can ask the agent to privide to me as a proof of purchase?
  10. Prestige Motorsport (PM) has a nice web page. However, they never answer phone calls. Has anyone used PM? I am going to get an Estima hybrid in the near future. Recommendations for a good importer would be much appreciated. JACE has a range of nice import cars. However, the selection would be narrorwer than Japanese auction.
