    Bridgestone in smithfield do a lot of imports and will ask if it's for street or track when you arrive and set it accordingly

    Yep I use to do compliance on cars years ago and I never understood why we were fitting belts that needed "adaptors" to fit, my compliance belts are now in the bin

    Depends weather it was done under the new system or the old system, under the new system they deemed it was safer to have the original seat belts in the car And I agree with them as I recently ripped all the compliance belts out of mine and fitted genuine belts

    Sorta unrelated but how many kms do you get to tank of fuel and how roughly how much does it cost to fill from the light coming on?

    There is nothing illegal about it and is well within the rules written by the rrms

    They are r34 skylines and both have the rb series engine and in the eyes of the rta/rms/Vic roads and who ever else matters registration wise they are the same car and swapping the engine isn't an issue because no chassis modifications are required to fit the engine. And if you check your rego papers no where on them does it say Gtr, gt or gtt or any other model So to them it's a 99 skyline

    I agree it's all different, but it make no difference to what the original poster is try to do. Because the r34 skyline was available with an rb26 so putting it in is no issue

    In nsw it wouldn't be a problem under the new scheme, but as mick said its state by state
