  1. I'm interested but April weekends are looking pretty busy for me. Will attend if I'm free for sure

Long overdue result: This was from a mix of city driving, and highway, mostly 30+ degree hot days, with the aircon going; Could have probably pushed on a bit further, but have never been keen on actually running out of fuel. Kinda decent result considering the weather, and comparing to two very thirsty R33s I owned previously
  3. NICE! Love your wheels man! ^ What are they?
  4. Definitely wont fit. Sedan rear pods are longer!
  5. Same here ^ Tried the said process in OP, but it came back. Still flashing away... giving me the absolute shits!

^If those IMPUL units are with the concept of 'individual' tunes / per the original customer's demand (like all the Mines ECU's for skylines), definitely a lucky dip - wouldn't trust em as far as I could throw em!

Had a look after work today; spotted a plastic connector with orange wires that sits above a little compartment in the top center of the glove box. All looked in tact from a glance. Just made sure the wiring on the plug wasn't twisted or damaged. The stereo leads were however tucked a little snug around this plug, so i just freed them and fed them through into the glove box away from the plug in question. Managed to clear the airbag light using a method posted in another thread, but went for a drive a short time ago and sure enough the bastard is flashing again... Might need to look at full diagnostic mode to get codes. Blah...

Thanks for the replies lads. So it's a common occurence for other m35 owners too... I was just suprised the light come on in the dash unprovoked / without any collision / stuffing around with any interior bits & pieces. I just jumped in to go for a drive on Friday night, and now it just flashes away as I drive. Come to think of it - the only thing I remotely touched (that may be close to airbag plugs or something) was the mass storage and iPod connectors that sit in my glove box for the stereo. Gave them a bit of a yank just to access them. Will check for any electrical plugs and the sort that may be responsible tonight. If still no go, might give the error code reading a go over the weekend, and see if I can clear it. Unfortunately me and diagnostic functions arent very familiar with eachother; knowing me I may kill something! Cheers L

Hey guys, I got an airbag light flashing on the dash - no idea how or what has triggered it. Just keeps flashing continuously. Anyone had this before?
  15. If it were me - I'd go for a GT-FOUR, stick out your L's/P's and when ready, drop in a Stagea NEO 25DET. Quality project, low difficulty, and you'll get to know a lot more about the car piecing it all together. You could always go 26 if you're more adventurous
  16. Said goodbye a couple weeks ago. Great car she was Happy I was able to pass it onto someone else to enjoy
  17. I think you're correct on all counts Michael I thought the only thing that made it that bit extra special was the 40th Anniversary trim. Still bloody nice in midnight purple though
  18. Thanks heaps for your response Ryan. AM Performance sounds like the go. http://amperformance.com.au/product/turbo-dump-pipe/turbo-dump-front-pipe-nissan-stagea-m35
  19. Hey guys (and sorry to hijack your thread andersanders) - congrats on the purchase! I'm in the same boat, new Axis owner. Beautiful luxe car agreed; however I'm not too keen on doing a full aftermarket exhaust. I really don't like the droney sounds that I hear on some of the examples on YouTube etc. Still, might pay to actually check out an M35 with an a/market exhaust in person though. I just think having a loud droney exhaust on a car like this makes it feel like a cheap piece of shit. Although in the interest of performance and longevity of the engine, I'm all for some mods to make things less restrictive... Would replacing just the dump pipe be beneficial?
