Hey guys, Ive been AFK for such a long time, I thought I would update you all on where I am currently at in the world. Alot of you already know after selling my skyline (I see it every now and then, then almost vomit with what has happened to it) I ended up in a new XR6-t ute, that lauren (nizmo) proptly damaged with a chunk of her "underbody" (well it was a tiny chip but I cried anyway) I held onto that beast until recently when I purchased a BMW 330Ci coupe. And since that is so....not sporty (ASC and the heavy ass make it an awesome cruiser, but sometimes you just wanna give your car some "go"), I also purchased a 1995 MK4 supra aerotop, for a little bit of fun weekend driving. airroad have good prices and are quite pro, i had my utes hardcover deliverd for $130 (bargain!) and the online tracking is superb If your not in a blazing rush busfreight are the cheapest i found, and also a very professional service, although it takes about 7 days for delivery.

With the number of tradies etc who are making a killing nowdays, dealers can not afford to judge ANYONE who walks in the door, ie the father in law, went into BMW to buy a M3 after a hard day at work, wouldnt even give him the time of day. Their loss, 2 weeks later he was driving a new m3, purchased from a different dealer. I once went into a subaru dealer to get a price on a liberty GT, and the dealer told me "the brocure costs $30", yeh f$%k you mate. So I got the ford.

do not put glass on the top, if you are going to do any glassing, do it from beneath. it will be impossible for you to smooth it out properly if it is on the top

fibreglass bonnets are made in 2 parts, then sandwiched together to form 1 solid part. alot of fibreglass bonnets sag because of this, angle might work, but only if its installed correctly regarding reglassing it: if theres no physical damage to the bonnet and the glass seems fairly sturdy, maybe you could just skim it with fine layer bog to fill the deep scratches and then use a putty primer to smooth and finish it. (basic practice with most fibreglass bonnets to fill all the imperfections, fibreglass rarely comes out of the mould with a perfect gelcoat)

Stop overtaking people so much, then you wont need to use your right indicator so much (haha) speaking of blown bulbs, my ute has chewed 3 LHS bulbs in a month....sus, must be something im doing wrong
