  1. I have a friend with a t78?
  2. Do you have any pics of the location? Perhaps a pic of you at the location? Many thanks, Tj pennyfarthing the third.
  3. What are they going to actually use the car for, or is it simply a "we got the first one, in your face suckers" type exercise. Serious question, because no ones really mentioned the 35 in drag yet, and we know what the Willall boys like to do
  4. This is the full english release Only subtitles are when the drivers speak
  5. Anyone else got this yet? My copy landed yesterday - very good production as per usual by the Best Motoring Crew. I wont spoil it too much, but if you can get your hands on one, do so. Official release date is 12th October.
  6. Targa Tas had the pink Donut King one. If the right people get behind him, I can see no reason why he couldnt reach the top levels of Aussie Motorsport.
  7. Willems a crack up in real life, top guy too. Woulda played it up for the camera without a doubt.
  8. Challenge is limited to 130kmh top speed, no need for a cage etc, guys are newcomers to the sport, I say well done to them for getting out there. Id kill to do the event in a GTR and be mid pack
  9. Im deeply humbled by the chance to watch this kid go out and win Targa in a fundamentally stock 35 GTR - absolutely staggering performance. He is on road tyres, so to beat the likes of Richards and Weeks in supercars is no easy feet. Good stuff Steve, and may it be the first of many victories for you, highly deserved bro!
  10. Yeah Gav its pretty gay isnt it - if only they allowed the 19's to go on it. Car is looking great, Ill get a pic up this arvo or tomorrow, as ill be flat out all weekend with the Fabcar Team. Wish Steve the best of luck, the driver and car are more then capable, so hope it comes together for him.
  11. Settle down princess. If it was anything untoward or illegal, do you honestly think I'd post it on a public forum ? "hey help me find this guy, he owes me money for the crack he stole from my stash"
  12. Hey guys, posted on behalf of my friend on antilag Thanks for the help. /mod edit: removed unlegit reason for identity request.
  13. Just borrow some rims to take pics for MV entry? There is also a space for notes on the form, let them know your rims are shipping from japan atm.
  14. Well 2 months is 60 days ... you should be ok. Why would you give anyone 600 dollars more for something your not overly in a rush for?
  15. You can buy them direct from Nengun. They are very well priced.
  16. Rob Turner has a set on his VQ30 powered R32 4 door, looks sensational.
  17. An Evo is a totally different animal to a Skyline, and as a performance car probobly a better proposition for the most part. 4 doors gives you practicality, and sure you can get a 4 door skyline but for the most part they dont really have much rear space. For tight twisty stuff, no GTR will touch an Evo - they are just so chuckable, and when you think they are out of grip they just dig deep and give you more. Sure they dont have a big motor so arnt really a top end monster with the standard turbo etc, but thats not what the car is about. They also seem to be more reliable for the most part then most other japanses turbo cars - dont spin big ends like dak dak subarus and dont drop oil pumps and all the rest of it with GTR's. But they arnt perfect, and clutch changes are hell for whoever does them. Being a Mitsi, avoid ones from snowy areas in Japan as they will be the ones to get rust cancer first. Typical roof rust issues, which seems to have existed from day 1. I've been lucky enough to drive 6 TME, 7 JDM, 7 GTA (auto - interesting!), 8 Aus, 8 JDM and 8 MR. Id rather a 7 then a 6, just feels like a more competent car, but the 6.5 sure feels pretty raw, and thus fun. Interestingly, the first Jap 8 I drove happened to be Nigels after he sold it
  18. x2, except for having a 33 to take to him, and being cursed to live in the ghetto. Great guy, and very good with a spanner.
  19. The tyres would have made marginal difference in the scheme of things, short track. I can tell you all cars had virtually brand new rubber on them, so none of them were on worn rubber.
