  1. Unfortunately this car is not currently available as an import to Australia, or at least nobody has done one as a test car as yet under the SEVS scheme, regardless, the car is priced accordingly against likely comparisons.... Im sure that you can buy almost any car cheaper in NZ since NZ has such open import laws!!

This was parked outside the Gym when I walked out yesterday, sorry for the quality of the shots, but I snapped a few pics with my celphone... Cheers, V
  3. MFG specs show as 280, so thats what I am going off, Id be more than happy to Dyno it, either way, it has a lot of power and it hasnt had much in the way of mods, If a KS Rom was installed it would instantly have 320 HP... Not too bad I supose... anyway, I really just want to sell the car at the moment, as I have just bought my next toy, an R34 V Spec II... VR4
  4. Just be careful when you go to the register and they ask you the famous line. "would you like NOS with that" V
  5. Garage versus carport 'The obvious difference between a carport and a garage is that a garage can be completely closed in while a carport has a roof and pole supports.' Taken from this 'Australian' website... http://www.homesite.com.au/renovate/garage...s_groundwork_1/ VR4
  6. There is an Autobacs not too far from Shibuya in Daikanyama, the following link will open a page to the info for that store, you could try printing it (if you can) and having someone guide you there. Even giving the map to a taxi driver might work. Autobacs is not the best place, I would suggest Super Autobacs as they definitely have more stuff, but there isnt one near Shibuya or Shinjuku as far as I can remember. http://www.autobacs.com/cgi-bin/inetcgi/sc...h_02&tcd=113083 Good luck, LegnumVR4
  7. Try this site, it's only available in Japanese, but you should be able to guess your way through the site by way of links. This link is for the full 23 wards of Tokyo Met. I live about 15 mins from Tokyo, the prices here range from about 400K to about 1.2M USD. Our place is 4 BR, study, on 250 m3 land with carport and was 600K if thats any indication of costs. I would not recommend buying unless you are planning on staying at least 10 years, any less and its a waste of money. Either way, you will lose money, but if you are here for 10 years at least you would get back what the house owed you (kind of) http://www.jj-navi.com/shuto/FJ021S90030.d...98&SCF=1&CNT=50 Good Luck. 8. Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I got a price directly from Nismo, but its a bit more than what Greenline have quoted. For 5+ it would be about $330 at todays exchange rate. I was warned by Nismo to look out for cheaper fakes that are going around, so I thought I would pass on that comment. Cheers, LegnumVR4
  9. Sounds like your company is one of the few then that actually do more, which IM sure is the reason your co. is successful. Generally, though the brokers dont, I know as I am a buyer and I work with dealers, but the brokers are usually just trying to make money for nothing.... I see so many of the cars I bid on with huge margins attached to them being advertised by brokers, these guys claim they are only making $1000 or whatever their fee is, but they are loading the price of the car as well, above and beyond the FOB price. Peace of mind, screw that, when you are paying a broker fee, plus a nice fat hidden margin as well.... V.
  10. Why not just find a buyer in Japan, they are the ones that do all the work from this side, such as sourcing the car, buying it, booking it on the ship, delivering to the port, exporting and doing all the paperwork that goes with that. From that point on, all you have to do is receive the car and have it complied. If you use a buyer who knows what they are doing they can also introduce you to engineers and customs brokers in Australia who can clear your car have it delivered to the engineers, complied and then forwarded to you for registration. Sounds the same as what you do now anyway, but without the brokers fees! Just my .02 VR4
  11. How quick do you need it? I am thinking of putting together a group buy for CF bonnets, just wating on some shipping prices, but the bonnet prices will be a lot less than the prices you are getting offered now... Let me know... cheers
  12. Hey, IM also trying to work out a deal on some Carbon Fiber bonnets at the moment. Once I have all the details I may put together a group buy... what do you think? I already know I can get them and for a reasonable price. its just the shipping I am concerned about...
  13. Just waiting on my friend who used to work for Nismo to get back to me with some contact details for someoen who may be able to help. It may take a couple of days, but I will get some kind of answer, as soon as I can... Cheers..
  14. Should have also mentioned that the car is completely prepped for registration, all that needs doing is the rego payment to be made. There are no import issues to be overcome with this vehicle as it has all been taken care of.... Car must be sold as I have already bought a replacement and I need to recover the money thats in this one.... Cheers...
  15. OK, I'll see if I can get a price tomorrow.... will post any info as it comes to hand... Cheers..
  16. The Super SQV usually have an integrated type of mounting, not really universal. If you give me the model car its for, I can have a look and see if I can find one.
  17. You were definitely being fed. The 350GT sells for about 2.8 to 3M (depending on year and quality etc) yen plus at Auction in Japan.... Landed would be around 50K then you would need to comply!
  18. Feel sorry for all you guys waiting on your cars. I send a lot of cars, but usually have no problem getting spaces on regular services to Brisbane. Customs clearnance there is pretty quick also. It is sometimes an issue of when you purchase compared to the shipping schedule. You should ask the broker or whoever you are using to show you the shipping schedule etc. It sux you have to do this of course, since you are usually paying them some $1000 extorsion rate to do *whatever it is they are supposed to be doing*........ I have bought heaps of cars for friends in Australia, naturally I make money at this end, but at the end of the day, they end up better off because they dont have to pay the extra $1000 to get it in.... Good luck to all... Legnum
  19. If you can get me a part number and indicate how many units you are interested in purchasing, I can call around and get a price for them locally.
  20. They look like silver RAYS "NISMO" LM GT4's
  21. Thanks for the kind words.. I have posted the car on a couple of sites, so you may have seen it. Its currently in Sydney with a friend who is taking care of the sale of it and having it detailed for me etc. I think its priced for a quick sale, I have seen another bone stock one with higher K's that they want 38K for. Cheers...
  22. Whats your budget? I can get you one direct from Japan, but it will need to be complied when you get it. I can help arrange the compliance also. PM me for more details...
  23. Dude, its a tiny carpark, about 500 cars Id say. they build this tiny little drift circuit and go nuts. I live about 15 mins from there...
  24. Here are a few pics of the car taken last year before it was exported from Japan. Will post some current pics later...
