hi all, have been hanging on to my skyline shell for long time but build hasnt progressed much at all. Looking to see if i can get any interest from ppl. pretty much bare, stripped shell, will need rust repair panel work and paint. have heaps and heaps of spares including interior, doors, bonnet, dash etc. no engine or gearbox. dont have pix yet so a bit hard for everyone to picture but would prefer local buyer so i can show in person and check out all spares tucked away in shed. theres too much stuff to put it all down on here. im in blacktown, western sydney. obviously will need a car trailer and van/ute for all the parts dont really know what its worth but im thinking around $1600 for everything, sorry but wont consider seperating. best to call or msg me please for more info, if need be i can organise some photos sent through email. thanx jay 0404-470-893

Yeah i kno wat ur sayin now, i actually did try doing that, i was using a tiny flat screwdriver to try and unclip the pin it self but cudnt get it., might try it again. Any1 know about injector polarity, if were to rewire it can i jus do it anyway???

The injectors came with its own connector, pins, seals etc. They are meant to be for rb20, the injectors fit ok but they dont connect to factory loom, so i thought its just a matter of cut, crimp and plug in. 75coupe...Wat do u mean by replaced the plugs without cutting ?

So ive jus put some sard 650 into my rb20, went in ok, now gotta do wiring to suit the new connector, Done some searching and found dat the injectors dont have polarity, is this true? Can i jus wire it in any way and keep it the same for all six? Jus wanna confirm this before i start cutting the loom. Any tips would be great too! Thanx

Jus found a old topic on this forum, apparently sard 63562 are to suit rb20det but require modifying to fit. Everywhere is advertising as direct bolt in but i guess not. Something to do with the fuel rail, any got 1st hand experience with this ?? The sard website has a Injector matching chart, for the hcr32 it has a remarrk "the fuel rail need to be processed" Doesnt make sense. . . .

from memory the stock injectors are like square with a clip tensioned in. cant remember if its 2pin or 3pin. the sards 650's (63562) are 2pin and are sqaurish oval type connector. they supply a plug with naked pins which im only assuming need to be crimped on the stock injector loom. suppose to be 'bolt in' but i have no problems doin the cabling, jus wanna kno is this how others approached the fitting of these injectors.

anyone fit sard injectors on their rb20? looking to buy some 650's but not sure if they are straight fits. to me it looks like the clips arnt the same, maybe needs rewiring. if so, how? any thoughts ??? tried search but got no exact answers

yep, mine is exactly like that, seems to do it when engines warm. have cleaned all suggested parts to do with idle. one thing interesting is that when idle is ramping up and down, i pull out one of the vacuum hoses off the plenum and idle goes sweet and normal, put the hose back in or block with finger and starts ramping again. this also happen with any other vacuum hose. sum1 must know wats goin on.....pleeeez

ummm, correct me on this but i tawt that upper arm moves with the suspension so doesnt matter which way it travels u always have the same gap. jus checked my car, the gap seems similar so id say its normal, u may have wheel rubbing sum where else. best way to confirm this is take wheel off and look under suspect area, u will have a definite rub area thats free from dirt and stuff. if not there look for same symtoms in other areas.

hey pplz, have a feelin i got a bad starter motor, on odd occasions the car just makes a clicking noise wen trying to crank over. i get all reds, volts measure good. battery is new. the noise is very similar to wen u try starting on a dead battery and hear sm go click click. so far i jus turn off and try again and it will tip start fine. gone through search, at 1st thought bad alternator but charge is good and volts not dropping on load. swapped battery with other car and eliminated that. checked relay ok. so now im thinking its the starter motor. i,ve heard vl, r32, r33, r34 starter motors are same....can someone confirm this, any other ideas and thoughts wud be great !!!

my rb20 has the 25/30, made 206rwkw, injectors and computer is holding me back, feels great to drive though i dont havent had much feel of other turbos besides stock ones. get full boost (bout 15.5) before 4grand then pulls very hard all the way, gotta rev the rb20 hard so next gear is in peak range and avoid boggy response. i reckon the rb20 loves being in the 5k to 7k range, the pull is very strong, breaks traction (235 17's rear with slight camber) in 1st easy, in winter nice cold days forget 1st, 2nd gear spins too !!! not too sure on specs of the turbo but i do know the internal waste gate is bigger than stock. thats just my car, i wud bee keen to see wat others say, hope it helps....

so the cradle bushes only need changing if they leak... ok ... mine arnt leaking so that answers that question next is the difference between the cradle inserts and pineapples. which one applies when ?? thanx for all the replies....

jus spent the last hour on search trying to figure this out and this wat i make of it....pleases correct me if im wrong.... there are 4 cradle bushes which need cradle to b dropped and bushes pressed in/out. alot of work and labour. u can buy solid alloy bush cradle inserts x 8 which stiffen rear up but sum say gets noisy sum say not. cradle stays on then theres pineapples x4 which depending on how its mounted promotes traction/grip or drift. cradle stays on. how do u know which option to go for and wat u need. im after grip, reduce tramping and general upgrade of worn bushes. i found a nice basic diagram showing where pineapples go for different results. sorry for being 'slow' but jus after a simple breakdown of the whole thing. then also u can get rear diff bushes x4. thanx

just put alpine type s in all 4 corners, fronts sound good but rear is crap. i think it has 2 do with the fact the fronts have a nice moulding/housing. the rears just sit there. i know 2 get good sound u gotta try and seal the forward facing sound waves from the rear facing waves but how do u do this on a r34 sedan. the parcel shelf jus sits there with speakers under it. cant mount the speakers on top on the shelf cauz the anchor's there and stock grill. anyone come across this.....

gave haltech a call today, the new platinum sport 2000 is rrp $2445 (sumting like dat). the guy recons the sport uses new circuits and has map sensor built in, no need to buy seperate. similar features to e11v2 just with newer technology and some extra features, i didnt get into the tech details of it.

between the 2 models 32 and 33, gtst, are they compatible. i think the r32 is r200 diff. wat about the 33 also a bit more technical stuff i dont understand is the ratio. heard ppl say 4.1, 4.3 etc does some1 kno wats wat?

yep, i had these on my r32, at first i thought they were no names, my tyre shop said they were good, so i got em, my friends laughed at the name, but performance wise they were really good, wet and dry. after a nice burn out, they went nice and sticky, copped a bit of abuse and still lasted.
