cleveland = bang with constant big revs, manual gearbox = the ghey for burnout comps unless you can start in 3rd or 4th gear, and you wont do that without a 6/71 sitting in the valley, and due to the clevelands stupid long crank snout running a blower at big revs means chewed out #1 mains bearings, which = bang As much as I dont want to say this but a stock LS1 with a cam and a tune will out grunt most clevelands and live to tell the tale.

thats cause it was designed by the guy who designed the oldmobile V8 and we all know they were an awesome performance engine....... Also why I suggested the Dart 9.2" block, has cleveland Mains sizes and deck height but the oil and cooling system is based on the Windsor

$40K on a cleveland??? are you building 3 of them? lets see, Dart 9.2" deck block is $3000 Scat/Eagle 393/408 Forged kit is <$5000 CHI 3V alloy heads are ~$3000 CHI Intake to match ~$750 Custom headers $1000 Ross balancer $500 Billet flex plate is $500 MSD or ICE Ignition $1000 Comp Cams Rollers _ $500 Assembly $1000 Solid cam and lifters $500 thats ~15k for a bomb proof motor that will make 550+hp add a good E85 ready Proform carb and its $16k Add a build C4 for 3k a 9" with a full spool and 4.11's for anothers 1500 bucks....still well short of 40k. so I would find a new engine builder

Cleveland, Windsor, SBC or Mopar? I doubt a cleveland will fit without chopping the strut towers out, sames goes with a 351 windsor. either way, big engine + little engine bay means epic overheat before 3mins is up. Ever notice that all the engines that go pop due to overheating in burnout comps are those in little cars, eg toranas, cortinas, Rx4s etc

$6k is too much, buy some BC coilovers (99% the same as GReddy type S) $1300, some Whiteline Bars $600 tops, and nice cat back for under $1k and then spend the rest on a holiday or towards a house deposit. It is your money, but take it from someone who spent every cent they earnt on cars and guess what? Now all I have is a heap of debt, because instead of paying off loans quickly I bought parts.
