  1. You have an Rb25, you will at some point lol
  2. That might be the small ports/factory intake etc holding the RB20 back, what turbo was on the 20 Simon?
  3. haha, There is one here in Canberra with one, real rough looking car but sports a t04z and the 6 speed. I wonder how my Soarer would go with street tyres and the auto and very average suspension.
  4. 7k WITHOUT pistons!@!@!@ Ouch!
  5. Maybe just shave a bit of the upper wishbone, might give you just enough clearence.
  6. Harry - just stick a V160 in the aristo and when you are done with it give it to me for my Soarer I think there needs to be the club sprint class for Semis and a class for road tyres. EC plus big power plus road tyres just doesnt sound safe, as the driver of that Black S15 found out.
  7. I know what turbo my 1jz is going to get now!!@!@!@!@1
  8. Also, my basic shithouse build cost me $6k...for a RB25, It blew up 18months later after having 11ty problems
  9. Who is building it? Please dont tell me its some servo gargage up whoop whoop
  10. I dont think response increases, but midrange power will, the top end wont increase on a smaller turbo eg. Phils GTRS because they are already at max airflow on a stock RB25, a bigger turbo that can flow more air will show gains in the top end. So throwing some cames at a stock turbo Rb25 will give you nothing apart from a lighter wallet. Imo I would not change the cams unless I had a .82 GT3076 or larger turbo on the car.
  11. Still on 1 post, must be pulling the engine out
  12. Could also be an OLD 300zx turbo
  13. Flux Capacitor Dunc, Just like what the Nugget has lol
  14. *cough* 25G Bris You better enter though Roy, Ill be working there and I wanna look at it.
  15. I couldnt get ACL race series Rod bearings for my 30, had to get the dura-glides
  16. I know the dates, but not sure if I am allowed to say or not. lol looks like they have been released already hahaha Hopefully the club class field is better than last year, some of those cars had....um....intersting modifications
  17. Yeah I f I ever won lotto I would do it, but really not worth the $$$$ spent when a stock Turbo RB25det would make more power
  18. No, the turbos are mounted completely differnt.
  19. Sure you could have the cams reground, but wont be as effective.
  20. Its funny seeing RB20 cam covers with the 25 timing belt cover. Nice and neat too
  21. Ok, lets get things straight, The cost of just parts alone will run into the thousands a set of cams and valve springs is well over 1000 bucks. But if you were to do it. I would find a Neo RB25DET head and use it, they have a smaller combustion chamber than the earlier heads so that will up your compression for the larger cams, they also have solid lifters so you can rev them harder. New rings and bearings in the bottom end, a larger sump will be needed if you plan of revving the bejesus out of it. For cams I would just go off the Shelf 264's with around 9mm lift, so it stays streetable. Find a GOOD set of headers, the cheap stuff from ebay or just cheap in general is just shit! So a custom set done by someone who knows what they are doing would be ideal but expensive, a good hint at a good header builder is when they start asking about cam sizes, port work, expected rpm range etc. The RB26 ITB setup would be the best bet for the intake, but requires an adaptor made, alteratively a Greddy plenum would work well at higher rpm as well. Then all you will need would be a good MAP based ECU and TUNE TUNE TUNE!
  22. Id take it, but this time of year means im broke
  23. Oh so tempting brad!!@!@
  24. The problem with that is you would have to meet the current emmisions regs (euro 4) whiich would be next to impossible. Nissan Ditched the RB motor before Euro 3 came in because not even Nissan could be bothered spending the coin to get the RB26 to pass.
  25. ^^ I agree! for the price they are hard to beat
