  1. Yeah I know, but you get the idea.
  2. 1 Person!!@ Wtf? lol I thought you were talking about Cams or the guys that run the series!
  3. thats all very well, but Rb20 inlet ports flow all of about 120-130cfm...So Fark all, even heavily ported you would be lucky to make over 200 genuine horsepower at the flywheel, where as Sr20 that figure comes in the Autech S15 road car, with nothing but a bit of compression and some cams.
  4. Yeah I get that, but street cars dont run slicks do they...Which is the the issue a lot of people have. I dont care if you turn up in a Maserati MC12 GTR, but if you want to run in a road car catagory then you should run road tyres, if you want to play with the race cars on slicks then you should have a cage like a race car. Not directly having a go at you Dunc, But I like the Vic rules better, where if you want slicks then get a cage.
  5. Wasnt the Euro release the 22nd???....So tomoz in our little corner of the world
  6. I can see what you are saying, but you are still going just as quick, if not doing quicker lap times in the Sprint series than you would door to door. going 11/10ths in a sprint or a "race" is still going 11/10ths you can still drop a wheel in the dirt and end up on the roof etc and a quicker car on slicks is going to have a bigger stack than captain slow in his daily drive civic. So yes there are arguments both for and against requiring a cage in the quicker classes. And not everyone wants or can afford to go door to door with their race car so they have fun at sprints, which isnt what owning a club racer is all about? fun? Not "you have a cage gtfo of my sprint series" etc.
  7. By the time you prep a set of 26 rods (resize, linish etc) you are nearly at a set of Eagles or Spool H-beams. most people rate the factory 26 rods at ~400rwkws, there are the same length as 25 rods, just beefier.
  8. Cool thanks Im looking at doing something with my old 25 block, So I will let you know.
  9. We will be drinking tonight
  10. Have a look at the non-jap range, stuff like Brian Crower, performace Springs etc
  11. Mohsen is 12yo... just pretends to be a 16yo virgin...but im still not sure why?? LOL
  12. Not the 1st time I have heard of their plenums cracking/splitting they are very thin. Have garrett done anything with the turbine wheels? I know the housings are the same...but Im not convinced that the 3076 turbine will flow enough to make the most of the new comp wheel?
  13. helmet hair is the new black Shell
  14. I saw the gearknob thread before this on, I can deal with whats there, the vein-ness keeps me entertained while at work.
  15. +1 I don't hate the car because i'm jealous of it, I dont like the way it looks, I don't like the way it sounds, I don't like flappy paddle gearboxes, I don't like 20" wheels, I don't like leather interiors. And the big one! I don't want to be stereotyped as a R35 owner, hell even on just this forum nearly all the 35 owners have their head so far up their ass it just isn't funny....I.e making threads about look at my pretty gear knob...whooptyfkndo batman, you have a gearknob OMFG really
  16. For starters you are around 200hp optomistic on the F1 motors. Sounds like you have just read a book, I know so many people who have tried Long rod and Short Rod combos on motors, they all gave up and built strokers and went faster. The only real expection to that is nascar where the motors need to survive at 9000rpm for hours on end with no rest, and only recently have they gone to a 4.125" bore and a 3.25" stroke, have they made anymore power over the old 4.030" x 3.5" combo...well no they havent, do they rev any harder...no There is still enough room to throw a 6" (RB30) rod in an RB, just just needs custom pistons...does anyone do it...well no. Plus more cubes = being able to spin a larger turbo = more power.
  17. F&F Was a doco GAWD dont you know anything Marc
  18. Couple of hairy moments there! Looking at that I would take the porka If I had the cash...didnt look like it was trying to kill the driver on every corner...But No way as fun....and I have the plans here to build a 7...one day lol
  19. you will need to loosen both as it rotates, wont really affect your idle, but it may help if the ECU thinks that the throttle is slightly open when it isnt.
  20. on 32s and 33's there are 2 small phillips head screws the hold the TPS on the shaft (LOL SHAFT) if you loosen those off you can turn the TPS
