  1. "10-4, copy that, over." :Pimp2:
  2. Thats what I was thinking
  3. Dude, the thread about the Sydney Mardi Gras is elsewhere. :grouphug:
  4. Phew, I hoped you knew that rant wasn't aimed at you. The home decks, kickback days rock hard, I hear ya on that one. I head to one each Saturday after Trauma and PHD, nothing better for settling back down to earth or launching even further out into space.
  5. Dude, loosing ya fave venues bites but theres heaps of stuff to be at and always has been. I'm by no means accusing you of doing so but you've remined me how much I hate the current electronic musice sectarianism. How often have you heard ppl saying the Rave/Club/Hard Dance/Trance scene is crap now and was better "Back in the Day" ? I HATE THAT PHRASE. The scene, like the music and every aspect of life, is destined to evolve. If ya not happy with it now, thats your own problem. It will never be the same again. Learn to evolve your taste with it of find something else. Its tantamount to stating that the R34 is a crap skyline and that the marque was the best "back in the day" of the R32. Thats better now thats all off my chest.
  6. The only reason you'd get into a fight is if you want to. Stay away from the shirtless Neandertals and all is sweet. Avoiding contact with them is easy. Avoiding seeing them is impossible.
  7. Oh hell yeah. If Two Tribes has what you want then jump in head first.
  8. On the contrary dude; It is now more like Heat than ever before. Its aquired the rank of "McRave" There will be more latte' dudes in pink, upcollar polo shirts than Summerdaze or Chapel St put together. The trendy hair dos will be the "Millenium Mullet" and Robbie Williams mohawk So many people that movement will be difficult. Undercover cops and sniffer dogs so thick that ppl will step in dog crap. And the chance of having a waxed, roid pumping, coke sniffing sweat monster bumping into me don't make me wanna buy a ticket at all. However this is all just the voicing of my opinion. If ya do go, rock on and have a wikkid time. Alternatively there are other more intimate, focussed parties on this month for those, who like me, have an aversion to the crowds. Go sick whatever you do!!!!!!!!!!!! :rave:
  9. Hang on Ash, it was my understanding that......................... Just kidding  Looks like it'll be wicked day, have a great drive all.
  10. Hold on, Leewah's point is that its NOT always the "the dickheads in their Holdens trying to prove something".*** Its a simple case of numbers Vs reputation. There are more of them than there are of us. For every idiot in their Holden being a knob, there are, most likely 20 or 30 others who aren't. Our problem is that for every Skyline driver who drives like he's invincible, there is an extremely small fraction of that number of us who don't. It doesn't take a Mensa nominee to work out that this equates to a situation of high probability that those of us doing the right thing will be lumped in with the good for nothing, no skills having, brain leaked out, common sense lacking, wastes of road space that are those Skyline drivers who put themselves and others at risk by driving irresponsibly. I dread the day when I'm no longer shocked to hear about a young Skyline driver having an accident, SO BE CAREFUL. ***The above is, in no way, directed specifically towards Buddy Club R33
  11. I love the line about the careless little Smear being on his P's. But then I don't need to chime in at all about that.
  12. Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhh, the Claws came out on that one.
  13. This is so funny. I can't work out if anyone is actually being flamed, nor do I actually care. However the vocabulary and atmosphere is highly mirthful. Ta all.
  14. JEBEM IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way cool!!!!! How ya been mate?
  15. So am I to interpret that smilie sentence as you got smashed, flashed your melons, was bent over and spanked and then someone jizzed all over you?
  16. Unfortunately I don't think such a person exists. Even I don't trust myself. Most of the time I've offended me somehow and thus I'm not talking to me. That other guy can such prick sometimes. I can't believe I'd do something like that to me.
  17. I see that in my absence you've all lost the plot again. Those who posted at the start of this thread were of course dead right. The reason for the lack of action in the Vic section recently IS because I wasn't around. Hope all are well, those I know of course. Those I don't, I'll hold back my well wishes until I do know you. Now as "Gobler" said in Raiders of the Lost Ark: "...what shall we talk about?"
  18. YES YES YES and another big HELL YES!!!! Thats what got me started. I was 15 and after a few listens to Kate I was addicted and taping the show each week as well. Finally, someone who knows what I blab on about whenever the conversation turns to "So how did you get into the scene?" Rocking my world.
  19. But when ever I see you at Hard Kandy you're always out the back in the chill out room, usually rather mashed and not looking like you can dance at all. :elaugh: The T-Shirt may a well read "Just Phuc Off"
  20. HAHAHAHAHA!!! My condolences dude.
  21. hmmmmmmmmm, I don't know what your problem is but I'm sure its hard to pronounce.
  22. Dave Joy - The Third Pleasure ( Uberdruk remix ) Unix - Overdrive your Speakers Junkfood Junkies - The Journey and Pretty much anything on the Tidy UK or Tidy Trax label. If its UK Hard Dance or Hard NRG, sign me up and I'm there. If you don't like the scene now, that all good. Just don't get involved with it and everyone will be happy I'm so damn bored of hearing people whinge that "its not as good as when I was involved back in the day". Debating the merrits of the Club / Rave scene or which genre of Dance/Tech/House is the most relevant or "best" is as useless as a similar discussion over cars. Everyone will have their opinions and convincing them otherwise is impossible. Just go do what ever you like but I pity the fool who tries to get between me and my Friday night.
  23. No, the whole scene has simply evolved and been created into something the current crowd want it to be. In fact I hazard a guess that the whole scene is now so far removed from what it was 11 years that the two are now strikingly different. Gone mainstream and commercial, yes, downhill, never!!! I'd even wager that the added variety of events, clubs and parties available mean that finding something specialised to float your boat is way easier these days. Personally, I'll take Hard Kandy, PHD and things like the Tidy Tour or the Pharmacy parties. :jump:
  24. I'll show my contrived elitist, raver, arrogance here and say "bugger Ferry Corsten and Ronald Van Gelderen" That proggie, latte' housie stuff can go and get fffffar away. Its not worth the ticket price. HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you've got Scott Alert, Richie Braic, Jeremy K, Jewelz, Compound, Master Kaos and Midro all on same bill, the ticket price makes more than perfect sense. They're hopefully gonna drop some wicked hard stuff as is their style Forget the internationals guys, get along to see the locals.
