  1. All fixed. Parts from Nissan and supercheap.
  2. Long time no posts Looking for the rubbers from the top of the front R33 GTSt shock absorbers (bump stops and upper shock absorber bushings - don't really need the dust covers ) I'm missing them and need them to re-install stock suspension to replace the Tein HA's.
  3. WTB Cam Angle Sensor for an RB25. I think mine might be faulty, (intermittent splutter)
  4. Wanted, boot lid lining. Condition isn't too important as it will go towards a template for my sound system. Needs to fit a 4 door boot (not sure if they are the same as a coup. txt message 0459 489 766
  5. After a can of black PlastiDip anyone have some?
  6. I will be there as usual. Suggest the usual meeting place - The Bikini (I mean Fashion) parade near the start finish line.
  7. Nigel from "Bit Sus Imports" can help
  8. Followed the order Black, White, Red, Green, looking at the plug from left to right, tab at the top. (both Tangles schematic and NSNR33 descriptions match)
  9. Well it's all soldered up, heat shrink on and ........ nothing happens. Car turns over but no sign of life. Too dark now to do much else - I'll unsolder it in the morning and look for some sign that it has a short (I hope) Otherwise I may have to call a mobile auto electrician
  10. Thanks for the wiring schematic Tangles, I'll save it incase I ever hit another wiring issue.
  11. Thanks a lot. Hopefully i can be back on the road for the weekend
  12. Hi Having a run of bad luck. The other day my air conditioning fan belt broke. got caught up in the thermal fan, then jagged the wiring for the Cam Angle Sensor, pulling out the plug and shredding it and the wires nearly as far back as the temp sender. Anyway, a long walk home, then an expensive tow truck bill, the car is home. I have sourced a second hand plug with 20cm of wiring still attached, but the wiring colours are different to mine, and there wasn't enough of my original plug left to work out the wiring order. Could someone please take a picture or report back on the order of the wires. My original wires are red, green, white and black, and I need to know the correct order in the plug. The plug is 4 pin, and looking into the plug with the wires out the back and press release button on the top I see this. =====[---]===== (....1...2...3...4.... ) ============ I searched the forums and goggled, but have not found a site that lives the pins in terms of wire colour.
  13. WTB Crank Angle Sensor plug and 20cm of wiring (back to around the temp sensor wires) I broke an air conditioner belt which flicked up, tangled around the thermo fan and snapped the wires that run to the CAS. I need to splice in a new plug and wires ASAP. Thanks
  14. WTB R33 engine fan coupling. (the thermal unit that the fan bolts to - they should spin when cold, mine is locked solid)
  15. Thanks Steve. I pulled the coil packs out between showers today and there was a lot of moisture at the base of the plugs. Cleaned and dried the whole area up after a short test drive it seems to be running well. I'll run it for a day or two just to be sure, but hopefully the problems been resolved. At some stage though new coil packs are on the cards, but Nissan want $233 each. Ill keep my eyes out for a set of spitfires I think. I've seen near new sets as low as $400, and around $550 new.
  16. Has anyone got some 33 series 1 coil packs and/or ignition module. My car has a bad misfire and feels like I am down to 3 cylinders at times - but runs well for a while when first started. Just want to diagnose the problem. Would consider purchasing new coilpacks if they are the fault. call Guy on 0459 489 766

  19. Agree with most of what has been posted on here. Property should be considered a long-term investment, and as such you have to be prepared to ride out the bad times (such as those at the moment) But for those looking for the silver lining; remember these times, when the market was bad, this could be the time to invest, and sell (if you have to) when the market is at its peak. I'm sure that in 20 years many of us will look back and say "if only I had 100k to invest in the 20teens, there were some great bargains then. (but you have to be able to carry the debts through the bad times) As with any investment, some will be better than others. You need to pick the right property at the right price in the right area. Some people can make a fortune being . There will always be a huge rental market at the bottom end of the socio-economic spectrum, because these people will never be able to afford to buy, and they have to live somewhere. Others pick the right area just before it booms, or buy in an area that later becomes popular and allows for subdivisions (think Prospect 20 years ago, some great bargains) There are some real disadvantages to building in SA with our land tax, so large portfolios are not very attractive. I have a reasonable portfolio of investment properties, and have been able to leverage these to get a home and acreage I would otherwise never have been able to afford, so it can work.. (but there have been tough times along the way)
  20. Good to catch up with you today Nick. They have destroyed our usual shade tent, but the fashion parade catwalk is still there, and the XXXX girls trailer was backed up for a show today. Back again tomorrow. Hopefully I get to spend most of the day in the corporate section (again) enjoying the free food and drinks.
  21. Looking forward to being trackside agai this year, but probably only Thursday and Friday. (In the usual spot if you want to drop past)
