hey guys does anyone know of a workshop that knows a bit about imports as far as Air Con is concerned ?? I went to Autospark to get my air con regassed and they did that fine but then there was a problem where for some reason the aircon fuse kept blowing. They weren't sure why and couldnt even give me a rough estimate about how much it might cost to fix it. They said it was difficult as some stuff was written in japanease. Anyone know a better place to go ?? cheers

ahhh my bad, i thought i stock GTR front bar would fit a GTST so i take it they need to be modified ? or do you need to get one specially fitted ?

so my mate just hit a tree whilst driving my car. everything looks fine except my front bar is f**ked and there is a small dent and scratch on the bottom lip of the bonnet. I was gona get a GTR front bar anyway so now i have some more cash (from him) to help with the purchase. what is the cheapest way to get a GTR front bar purchased and painted and fitted in Perth? 1) Import from Japan and get it painted and fitted here 2) Import from Eastern states, eg. Just Jap and get painted and fitted here 3) go to a workshop in Perth and get them to do the whole lot eg. Who is good for this ? 4) buy from a group buy or Private sale, i have been looking for one this way for ages and they are so rare ! so what do you rekon is my best option ??

yea getting the old dump off was a bitch, especially the 2 nuts off the bottom. In the end i have the top 2 and middle 2 bolt screwed in real tight with no nuts on them at all and just the bottom two bolts with nuts on them. I don't even understand how nuts would ever fit on those other 4 bolts, unless they faced the other way which they wont do. Currently the bottom 2 have the head of the bolt (if there was a head) facing the exhaust housing whereas the other 4 have the head facing the dump pipe end. Does this sound right to you guys ?

has anyone here tried to upgrade the old stock dump/front with a new 3" dump/front combo from BATMBL ?? im having major dramas, everything should be fine but did anyone have any problems bolting it on ?? I cannot seem to get the frigging nuts on, they just wont fit. I dont know how nissan ever got these things on the nuts keep hitting the exhaust housing of the turbo !!

at 200rwkw will my R32Gtst need a new gearbox ? I am anticipating that it will need a new clutch is that also correct ?

supposedly the stock rb25 turbo was incapable of getting an rb20 to 200rwkw but Ronin looks like he's almost there. I have been searching for the best option for aftermarket turbo for my rb20 for ages and am seriously considering buying an rb25 turbo and highflowing it like sydneykid.

I think if you crank them up to 100% duty cycle standard injectors can be good for up to 180rwkw, ive had people tell me they are making over 200rwkw with the stockies but i don't really beleive that. RB20 det uses top feed high impedance injectors whereas RB26 uses top feed low impedance injectors, so i think you can use them with a resistor pack or something. rb25 turbo is substantially bigger than rb20 but if i were you id save my money and buy a brand new turbo. I mean ppl sell used rb25's for like $400+ and for around $1400 you can by a brand new, much better turbo, do it once do it right. but yea, this gets asked all the time and has probably been answered in much better detail in another post so using the search button might be more helpful

HKS GT2530. I was told that they have been discontinued which i don't understand cos they are such a great turbo !! good for gts-t's and gtr's.... and are the HKS one's worth the extra money over a garret ? i heard that garret mass produce where HKS make each one individually or something... anyone care to clear it up for me ?

Is this for suspension only or can you get turbo's ? I noticed you had HKS listed...

are you sure cos ive driven my mates 180 a few times and never noticed the button, and ive never seen him do it. then again ive never really looked for the button so it might be there

I have seen a little bit of every movie that has come out over the last 5 years cos i work at the movies and this was the most boring, there was 1 good twist at the end but it didnt make up for 2 hours of absolute boredom, this is the only movie i have ever wanted to walk out of and if i hadn't been with a group of ppl i would have. ps. to the dude that said Zoolander sucked... wtf ?? Zoolander was awesome !!

how are you "unsure on that one" ? its 100kgs lighter and smaller all round and everyone says it (not always a good indicator ill admit) but it obviously has better handling

as lows said 2530 is a good upgrade, or go the rb25 if your on a tight budget, id stay away from the vg30 personally

what experiences are these ? a 33 gtst would have to have some serious money put in to it to challenge even a lightly modded gtr

what do they clean if anything ?

are all GT badges the same ? as in are the ones from 32,33 and 34's all exactly the same shape ?

I don't know why any1 would buy an RSM cos for a little bit more you can get an AVCR which shows you all thats + controlls boost

considering it only just came out i doubt a search would yeild (spelling?) any threads comparing the two
