  1. ive got em too and in my opinion if you can get em new for half price then get em. mine were used and knocks a bit b/c the pillow balls are worn. also my front 2 damper knobs are missing so i cant adjust them but they seem fine. yep they are damn stiff, i got sore neck the first week after 10mins driving. once you get used to them theyre great but big bumps and holes are unforgiving. makes you read the road conditions alot more. i love em but i havent been in a car with SK's setup to compare which is something thats holding me back from getting them.
  2. someones abit slow in catching on aye?....lol tuff break bud but imo you were doing stupid stuff and just plain got caught for it. i sure wouldnt like to be on the road with you around no matter how good a driver you are. lets hope you learn your lesson and see you on the track.
  3. like i said, ive got the exedy flywheel with exedy cushion button and am very happy with it. i looked at other flywheels like you are now and chose the exedy one cause it was around the 6kg mark as i didnt want to go too light for daily driving and because i could get it localy and not have to wait for it from japan like the cusco one i was looking at. UAS offers chromoly flywheels at the light (6kg?) and super light (4.5kg?). thats another option for ya.
  4. the more i modify my car the less "Grand Touring" it becomes. any performance upgrade usually means a loss in comfort and a small amount of reliability most of the time for me. stocker i could drive it all day...wouldnt be as fun though..ha.
  5. damn thats alot of parts!!
  6. i had a crack at mine with the exact same method as above but found out my child restraint is welded in a way that stops me from removing the whole parcel shelf. i was thinking of grinding it off but might need it for not getting defected. its soo annoying. arrrh. yeah it doesnt take that long if you know what your doing.
  7. do the seat belts come with the seatbelt guides?
  8. yeah its more that "labour" rattle that i get thats amplified by my dodgy short shifter. nothing terrible so as not to confuse anyone.
  9. true dat to all the above and true dat to the rattling down low in the rev range. the exedy flywheel is around 6kg. i didnt want to go too light.
  10. ive got the exedy flywheel and its just what everyone has said....revs better but also drops revs faster so gear change can be abit rough if not done right. you just have to change your driving style abit. im happy with my purchase.
  11. its about $70ish for all wheels and half that for either the front or back.
  12. oh yeh is that rodimus prime or optimus?? i liked optimus better.
  13. where are the dinobots? a pitty they dont have faces like they did in the cartoons. i wonder if they talk too??
  14. i like it bar the wheels. satin black is pretty good also. my friend was telling me how his gf knew someone who had their IS200 done in matt black in brunai. looked crazy but always got greasy finger prints all over it. ha. if you really want a sleeper look leave it looking stock as a rock.
  15. what?? i thought every skyline came with a traning wheel on their roof so they can drive on 2 wheels?..ha i was dissapointed also when they added the hoon factor in then again it wouldnt be ACA without it.
  16. abit obvious but have you actually tried fitting it? so which of the bolts in the pic are not needed. those short ones with the washers look outta place maybe? im pretty sure with my copy shifter i only had the 4 allen bolts.
  17. i dunno if this is any help but i got mine tuned with a hks one at 11psi exhaust, 34smic, intake and lightened flywheel and i got 199kw which was a shock considering it was pretty much stock before. obviously in shootout mode so id take 10kw off but still a surprising figure imo i was expecting 168kw. picked up alot more torque mid range so the car is very responsive to drive. smells like its running rich and on idle it misses now and then dunno if thats to do with the exhaust cam though.
  18. cant do much about people who dont give a toss about others. i came back after 5 mins to find a freakin shopping trolley smacked up against my door. curse the f$#ker back 10 fold in damage to his car....idealy 10 runaway shopping trolleys smakin into it.
  19. just take out all the bolts you see in the engine bay and then theres a 10mm bolt that holds the the headlight braket inside the guard/bumber below the parker light. thats the easiest way that i can think of.
  20. arrrrhhhh...tuesday!! if only it was a wednesday. dead keen on the next one...depending on what day it lands on of course...ha.
  21. damn.....if only i had 6 lying around for a dedicated track car. have been thinking of doing this for ages, importing a track car.
  22. i prefer those personal plates over those wanky ones like wanna race, playa, to slow, you suck ect.. spelt in all sorts of manner which takes you half an hr to decode.
  23. looks like a roof top carpark..he. good effort. looks like you guys can control your cars in a small space pretty well.. whats that hatch?
  24. are they the same? somehow that one looks like its made for a skyline.
