you can grab it from any suby dealer for $17 or so. first time i used it the freakin plastic hose that came with it got sucked in the plenum.!! my mate just started workin at suby docklands and he brought with him an extention hose so it wont happen again..LOL didnt really do much the first time, i guess my car was internally clean already but i still do it every 10k just for the heck of revin the engine and the atomic mushroom.

oh yeah take the motor to a power window guy, play dumb, say its from a nissan but dont mention $kyline:D and ask for a generic motor.

i still have my old motor that shat istelf. im sure theres like a generic motor out there that'll fit. i just couldnt be bothered running around to find out. might take it to nissan one day....one day..LOL i just bought a used gtr one off the forum and whacked it in. should cost you 100-150 and an hr on the weekend to fix. my window now works and i have an extra 10kw's :wassup:

i just take the steering wheel with me and pad lock the door mr-bean style.

is it consitent with speed?? goes faster or slower? might be just a nail or rock in ur wheel like i had.

there are other things to consider than just cars like kids and pets runnin across the road and as fast as you think you can whack it in gear sometimes its not fast enough. i was always taught to leave the car in gear simply for that reason.

yeah theres a thread in the DIY section. i followed it to take mine out and it was easy as piss. the hardest thing was moving the intake pipe that goes over the engine cover. seeing as urs is an rb26 it should be heaps easier. just remove allen screws, unplug and remove coil pack and unscrew and replace sparkies.

im after a pair or set of 225/50/16's sports also with heaps of tread...pref yokohama's

with nengun u have to include delivery. its best if ur buyin small stuff from nengun to get a few things to fit in the box so u just ahve to pay delivery charges once.

clear for silver and tinted for black.

thats tuff man. i dont think id swerve to avoid someone cutting infront of me. id break hard and if i had to, hit em and let insurance do their job. hope everything works out for him.

i hate the feel of the car under-revin in 5th gear...like tryin to ride a mule up a hill. the only time i ever use 5th is 85-90 plus. id rather cruise in 4th gear at 3000rmp around 80km which is the max speed limits here anyways excluding hwy driving of course. you dont even stay at 80 for a prolong period of time before you hit traffic or lights. ill only whack it into 5th if the roads long enough or when traffic permits which is not very often. theres no way id cruise in 5th at 60 though, car drives like a dog and theres no power or response when a tricky situation arises.

have u done a search...covered many times. in most cases u just tighted the bolts that hold the arm to the window, that'll stop it.

and when you do tell him you were offeneded that he jumped to the generalisation that all import owners are hoons. he wouldnt be happy if u came knockin on his door and accused him of being a crooked coppa, takin bribes, slappin hoes, catchin drivers instead of real criminals and suckin braxi's donga would he.

i always thought it was because of compliance that they do that.

yeah i sometimes get confused with magna's from a distance. its the shadow headlights that they and skylines have.

auto arm on my alarm does it for me. if they open the door the have to deal with the alarm goin off and then imobiliser and then me. someone would have to be real stupid to even try. i just make sure i dont leave mobiles and stuff in plain sight. oh and the reason why people get their car jacked with babies in the back is that they give thieves the opportunity by leaving their keys in the car in the first place. i never could understand why people do that. its like leaving ur house keys in the front door whilst u walk to the milkbar on the corner. its just askin for someone to take it.

problem with the sleeves is that the bulbs generate heat and over time they fade. this has happend to me. thats why i went with the led bulbs as they are already red, alot brighter, and they dont generate any heat. learn from my mistakes and do it right the first time:D lol. my mate did the blue in his rexy and its quite hard to make out the numbers. depends on the shade of blue i guess. nothign will beat reverse amber el dials though:D:D

take the connecter with u and go to a recker or even repco and see if they have something similar, then its just a matter of soldering. just an idea.

as in ur speedo? i just replaced them with red led wedge bulbs you can buy at autobahn. abit hard to read at first but u get used to it.
