im quite interested in this aswell actually, if you were to take the gear box off will the be a mark left around the pressure plate of the clutch? i will go take a photo now and post it up of this spare clucth i have and if that is what its caused from pulling out the gear box isnt a hard job and it will be easy to see if thats the problem, JV

when my turbo went, it sounded like a supercharger, annoying wine sound drove me crazy, then i just boosted it real hard and back off soon as i backed off it went to the point of sound like metal was scrapping on metal not a good sound, i still had boost pressure though, if you think its going take off you intake pipe to turbo and feel the shaft and spin it and see if it makes noise then if not then its normally fine, but in your case, defently gasket, JV

just take which one you like the looks of better, i dont really think you will notice any difference is lag, they will pretty much be the same, as for the hpi intercooler fitting, im pretty sure it would fit, front mounts really dont vary to much in fitting them, i wouldnt worry to much about that, just make sure the pipes line up and are the right size, JV

i completely agree with the igniter been stuffed, split fires wont do that with you, also check that your exhuast (cat) isnt screwed, mine got screwed up and so i had no exhaust flow slowing the engine and causing a miss, thats my 2 parts JV

I installed mine the other day, my door cards had a gap at the front of the pocket, (at the bottom of the door card the pocket) i had the cross overs put in there with just the wires going through the gap, this way no water or anything will get into the door and screw your crossovers, but otherwise tape them, JV

hey, yeah i plan on doing everything like port polish, acid dip, getting a higher flow oil pump from greenline.jp costing me a shitload, money isnt a issue really, i mean sure we have limits but every1 is saying do a rb25, the problem with that is i would like something not every1 is doing and make it faster then theres , its not to late on the turbo i can always change it to a 30/40 or something a bit smaller, cams i have been told to keep the same degree cams on both intake and exhaust, but i will be talking to a builder to find out what he thinks, i would prefer not to use over 18psi to keep this engine in real good nick, cheers for your help JV

a guess, i got my car back was a CA18det, drove it all the way home, turned the car off then tryed to start it again, kept cranking over but was not sparking, and if you have tested the coils and cas and everything like that, maybe you have screwed you spark plugs, that wat happened to mine but then it would happen every time i stopped the car, i fixed the over fueling problem using a dr drift chip, but then the same shit happened again, found out some1 put water in my fuel tank and that was causeing all the problems, so maybe it could be your fuel tank, take out you fuel pump and stick you hand into the tank and feel around see if you can feel any grit (rust) from water, if u can feel rust then it could be that causeing all your problems, worth a shot, JV

hey, if you have 190kws with that stuff, upgrade your turbo to a 400hp turbo maybe bit bigger if you want. you will have to change your ecu, your car will not run with a bigger turbo and no ecu, with a 30/40 turbo or something a tiny bit smaller and a power fc you would easy get 260rwkw, JV

Hey, I have a RB20 sitting at home, so i have decided to turn it into a RB22 not 24 because i will need to change the crank and stuff for a rb24 so ive heard, i will have custom exhaust and intake plenum with a 35/40 strapped on to in and alot of other stuff, but i need to know about the cam shafts, how much lift and what degree should i get? do i hav eboth exhaust and intake the same degree? also i would like this to make over 400HP safely and still have good response as in hit hight boost by 4500 latest by 5000, any1 who can help would b sweet, cheers JV

Hey all trying to organise importing sard injectors. each injector will be around $120 each thats for both the 550cc and 850cc injectors. these are side mount injectors and high independance. they require a injector collor which is $35 for 550cc and $25 for the 850 cc. dont ask me why they are different its what the supplier has told me. so if i can get a bit of interest will go ahead with the order. there are also nismo injectors and hks ones available. thanks, Mike
