Hey so just jap ones do fit? i emailed them a while back but he was unsure wouldnt like to order one have it sent all way over to adelaide and have it not fit i guess i could raise it somehow i could be worrying to much but i have heard of people having trouble with strut braces fitting after the conversion i take it you have a rb25 ? cheers for the help

Hey Guys cheers for your input i took it back to the suspension place today he was good about it he mentioned about spacers/links like you mentioned but when i picked it up he was not there but one of his staff explained to me what they did which seemed to sound like they just re-adjusted it which gave more room so maybe they didnt set it so well first time, took it for a test drive and i thought i heard it hit only once when i dropped the clutch a little in 2nd but i did have the old sway bar in the boot this time so it may have been that as i have not heard it since even after driving it in the hills the car car feels so much better now than before, and all my bushes and shockers hicas lock bar had already been done months ago, but the car just did not feel right so hopefully i don't here any knocking again and i will be happy oh yeah and whitelines customer service all he could say was that the bar had to be fitted when the car is under full load on all 4 wheels which it was the way it feels around turns now i don't think my tyres will last long lol now to get a front strut brace brake stopper and momo steering wheel thanks again

Hey Peoples wondering if anyone here knows of which brand or have a Front Strut Brace for R32 with rb25 conversion sitting on Rb20 Engine Mounts i really would like to buy one but im kinda tired of buying things that dont fit if not i guess im gonna have to try some second hand ones from wreckers cheers Graham

Hey All Today i just had fitted front and rear whiteline sway bars car feels a lot better except the suspension place told me that the rear bar is very close to the diff like 1-2 mil or so now and may hit but it seemed ok when he took it down the road for a test drive so i drive off expecting the worst ,and yeah has been making knocking sounds around turns esp going over bumps or talking off from a hill start cant take it back there till tomorrow morn has anybody else had a issue like this?, The sway bar i got part# BNR26XZ is actually listed in their catalog under gtr and for gts apparently there is not room to adjust it either so this sucks guess i may have to try just the heavy duty one what Rear sway bars did you guys get?, this is weird My Car is R32 GTS-t with rb25 conversion cheers for any help thanks Graham

Hey guys anybody here have a R32 with a Rb25 Conversion and found a Strut Brace that fits? im in the market for one but am worriend of buying one that wont fit becasue of the conversion not sure how much difference is in the clearance with the rb25 compared to the RB20 was thinking of trying a just jap one anyone have one of them? yeah i was thinking it was lifters at first but it seems to happen once the car has warmed up dunno its all been balanced and blueprint assembly i think it has large clearences thats something along the lines he said was the reason its frustrating to spend all the money and it ticks im going to be asking him to explain better on what it is its qite a good workshop so i do have faith im just unsure can this be common if the engine is built as more of a race engine than standard? going to get it going at 200/220kw after turbo upgrade and computer then go up from there as i get used to the power but i want to make sure its all good before i go pushing it cheers

Hi i Had my R32 Converted to Rb25 rebuilt engine and gearbox the engine has JE 1mm o/s pistons H beam eagle heavy dutyConrods Hks metal head Gasket 16mm etc Now one thing that is really bothering me is that it seems to be ticking/clicking rather loudly on idle and as revs go up you can hear it with bonnet down and standing 5 feet away but not while driving except on idle now i brought this up to the mechanic and he was in a rather bad moodtrying to do to many things at once which iam getting sick of and said its becasue of the Clearences and is nothing to worry about now i dont think its just me but if engine is ticking something must be up? or is this a common thing becasue of the pistons and large clearences? see i go to a mechanic cause i dont know much about cars and expect that they will do the job right now im just frustsrated and am not driving the car much and will be bringing it up again when all my bushes/suspension gets done at the same place so my question is this a common thing ? due to clearences or pistons? or whatever it is thanks for any input

Hello fellow skyline addicts recently i took the plunge and decided to get a rebuilt rb25 engine/Gearbox conversion to my R32 so out with the rb20 now the workshop is finally getting there its comming time to replace things like bushes and other suspension parts as it will be soon time for the dreaded regency check now i do need several bushes replaced but im thinking this maybe a good time to replace alot of suspension parts problem is i dont have a good knowledge of exactly all that is possible to be renewed and what would be good need to make sure every bush, suspension part i use is legal with regency so i cant go for any over the top adjustable items or drifting bushes as id prefer to keep it legal as i dont wanna be ripping things like bushes out all the time but thats just me what im wondering is what is a good list of items to replace like control arms and such im guessing everythings is getting pretty old in it now so would be good to get new and where would be best to source most of these parts? would i have to go for Genuine Nissan or are most Noltec bushes and items legal? heres a list of what i know i need to replace Front sway bar link bushes power steering rack boots Castor rod bushes rear subframe bushes L/H rear strut bout torn if theres anything you could recommend please let me know or a list of possible components that can be replaced cheers for any input cant wait to finally get my car back on the road and feel the difference of a rb25 Graham

Hey Guys im Looking for a apexi Power fc for my R32 Gts-t 1993 been quoted $2,200 for one with controller if i can find one cheaper than that id be happy or if anyone knows of anyone selling them new somewhere at a good price seems there harder to get now, cause they stopped making them? thanks Graham

hey everyone ok im not sure what the exact area is called but i went to go get a leaking tyre fixed and the young clueless runt jacked up my car on this part of the car pics below when i got it home i noticed hydroylic fluid leaking from this part as first i thought it was from the jack he used as it seems to have sprayed under the body a bit also so wiped it off left it but now its still leaking a week later and i think they may have damaged something its at the rear passenger side pics below aperntly to fix anything there the whole lot has to come off concidering it wasnt leaking b4 hand im pissed Thanks for any input Graham

Hey Guys Well this weekend i bit the bullet and bought some new deep dish wheels out of my money all good when i first saw em on drives way better, but then taking a second look the rear wheels from behind they seem to stick out to far and im qite worried about getting defected for em dont get me wrong i love the way they look but wanna try keep it from getting defected if i can so in the same day as getting them i have had the rear wheels taken off and called up wheel worx he suggested that when my car is lowered it would be alot better which he may be right? but they stick out qite a bit and are on a angle from the camber the tyres for the rear also are a size to small as they dont meet the rim well ,so if i get bigger tyres for the rim then it will stick out even more im guessing? i spoke with him bout it and ordered 2 of the front ones for the rear but i really dont think it would look as good cause there meant to have more dish on the rear im not sure how to post pics up on here is there a place i can upload em il try ? i took a few with my phone b4 i took the rears off i think lowering it will improve it but cant be certain? Also the have put to smaller tyres on the rear so it would stick out even more with bigger tyres any input is much appreciated kinda stressin here sorry for the long post and my bad grammer Cheers

Hey Guys I was just wondering how your cd player in your R32 sits as in how it fitted into the console/dash with the space left if it sticks out or if it wont go right to the back and fit in properly as with mine when i got the car i had just a big hole left from the person who had it last including the stock brackets were gone now ive finally got the brackets and bought a new universal pouch that will sit under the headunit but the gap still looks qite big i tried a friends pioneer unit and it seemed to look like it would just fit in there without the framing around it but the brackets where hitting the side so i couldnt slide it right back i guess when they are loosed it should slide in i ask this as im soon to get a cd player installed by autobarn a pioneer 7750 and dont want it to look shit and i will know what to expect and if they are full of shit lol if they say they cant do it any pics of your headunit fitted in your car would be really cool to see as i can only seem to find ones with stock cd players in them thanks heaps for any help Graham

Hey i recently bought a R32 and few things i wanna fix little things like broken centre dash vents i take it thats a comman thing to be broken? i was wonder if you need to take out your dash and go from behind the dash or can i just pop the new vents through the front? and anyone know of a good place to find some good condition vents in Adelaide thanks Graham
