  1. lol - Do you still have to cook it yourself?
  2. Keeping restaurant floor staff and kitchen staff (bascially the shit kickers) is not the same as being able to keep good Chefs and Managers. Of course its easy to leave a job when your waitstaff and get a new one the next day. But if you want a reputation as a top chef or manager - it doesnt look good swapping between jobs every week. The fact they cannot keep these positions filled shows they are unorganised and career hospitality staff do not see it as a good place to work. This is then reflected in the service provided as the staff will be new and untrainined etc
  3. Capri is old school..... YUM! Da Bruno's in inglewood is also really good italian but its hard to get in there sometimes. I know what you mean Bubba - you find somewhere good - STICK TO IT! I like trying new things, but I hate deciding to go somewhere different and then it turns out to completely shit and it ruins the night. Crema Cafe in West Perth is awesome. Modern Italian style food and some VERY nice cocktails I also tried a new japanese place the other day - its called 'Fuji Sushi Station' - its across from John Hughes on Albany Hwy in Vic Park. Its a little white building and looks all run down but on the inside its packed with people. The food is awesome. The fact that its packed with Japanese people must say something.
  4. Its VERY expensive and not worth it. The service is bad and they are still very unorganised. They can't keep chefs and restaurant managers/fucntion co-ordinators, which doesnt say alot for the establishment. If you want to eat at the raffles just order something to eat from the bar (which is still pretty pricey) and enjoy a nice sunny day in the beer garden.
  5. Let us know how you go because my drivers side window stopped working all together for about 4 months, then the other week it just went down on its own and its started working again. Weird. But it sounds pretty sick when it goes up and down like its struggling, so I am scared to use my window incase it wont go up again.
  6. worst.thread.ever. lol I still voted. I wish I had an R34 to vote for!
  7. Guys - please remember to send bad comments via PM. This is to avoid legal action against the forum owner from business's that you post about. Thanks
  8. Just remember everyone not to post bad comments about a business so if you need to say something then do it via PM. The forum owner doesnt need a legal action taken against him! Thanks

  10. Hi - there is a thread especially for new people to introduce themselves. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=176247 thanks. Thread closed
  11. Hey Matt - we have a thread dedicated to new people to introduce themselves. Post your detail up in here! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=176247 Thread closed.
  12. Just a tip... at the top of mills rd can I suggest you turn LEFT onto canning mills rd, then left onto Chevin (awesome hilly rd thats like a rollercoaster) then at the end go left onto brookton hwy then left on canning rd (the road you want to be on). If you go left onto Canning mills at the top of Mills rd - that road through the bush part is very very dangerous and its not properly sealed. (I know how dangerous these roads are as I live in Roleystone).
  13. Mills rd is ok at night - are you going to veer left at the top to go onto canning mills rd then left onto canning rd?
  14. Late night hills run = tree vs car. Be careful where you make the hills run.. don't go around any of the dams basically or it will end badly.
  15. Thanks for that. Did you get Morlocks as well? He is the guy who works with me that my order is being sent with.
  16. PM sent!! Hope its not too late for this order....

Guys keep it on topic please.. I've cleaned up the off topic posts if you are wondering where your posts went
  18. Paul is correct - please use this thread for workshops http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=141454 Its is also against forum rules to post bad comments about a business (defamation laws) so this should only be done by PM. Thread closed.
  19. What the phuck is the point of doing and EOI - just organise it and post it. If people cant make that date - they will have to wait for the next one. You can't try please everyone all the time with cruise dates.
  20. Just keep checking the events section as it looks like they are planning one soon or read the 'Cruise Ideas' thread.... or if you are really desperate to get out there - anyone is welcome to plan their own cruise and post it on here (just can't be under the SAUWA banner). Check out these guidelines for making a cruise map http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=37588 Thread closed

Hi - this is a faily common topic, please try using the search feature and you will see this has been covered plenty of times before.
  22. Thanks guys. 3 more years to save up for botox
  23. South of river where? You know suburbs like South Perth, Applecross etc have some of the highest amounts of break ins? I lived in Armadale for a while and parked my skyline out the front all the time - not one incident. It doesn't matter where you live if you just be smart about where you park your car - especially at night and make sure you have insurance if you're that worried about it.
  24. I've had mine for 4 years and its done 210 000km - hasnt broken down once (except when I have left the interior light on). I get it regularly serviced and anything that needs fixing from wear and tear I get sorted out straight away (even though I curse my car when something major does need replacing). I drive my car every day and I race it in the motor kahna at AHG. Its been more reliable than any other car I have had! My car is only slightly modded and I have never had any police attention in it, except a couple of speeding fines. But I haven't been harassed or given a yellow. You'll love your car once you get it! Now that I have said all this... my car will break down today and I will get a yellow sticker
