I recently got a new car and it has a full 6 point cage. It is engineered and registered. I can get the details of the engineers report if anyone is interested. I have also seen at my old work a 9 point cage in a GT3 porsche that was also engineered with removable side intrusion bars with very similar wording in it.

I bought the car with the intentions of building it as a street ready drift car... The car is by no means perfect and does need work for it to be street drivable or a stealth track car. The car is full engineered (apart from the rollcage) and was the certificate to cover rims up to 19 inches in size!
