  1. Don't you think there might have been frieght on top of that? I reckon it would be a great price... I'd be really interested... If I hadn't already got a complete kit... There are a heap of kits that HYBRID make... for all sorts of skylines and silvia's... it's probably worth buying the complete kit because in the end it looks sweet as with all the Hybrid Silicon Hose and stainless hoseclamps...
  2. Oi... sciby... No going soft either... your car is in our Garage Spank display... NO BUTS!! Tone is another one you guys have to get motivated... everyone text him and tell him his RX7 has to be going for the show... go on get your phones out right now.... well... whenever really ok guys enough rambling... have fun!!
  3. Very Good old chap.... we'll see you there... actually give us a call if you need someone to come and pick you and your car up... suprisingly there seems to be a fair bit of that going on between people with no liscences and people at work... I never knew so many of our your rice-brigade had to work tirlessly on a saturday... oh well sucked in!!!
  4. Sciby don't worry about your Skyline being too stock... Kate is putting her 33 four door in so we are parking you and her together.... seen as she pretty much has your car with no rims... it has 90% of your old parts on it anyway!!
  5. Anyone interested? It's still for Sale.... everyone seems to be loven the 2-doors and haten the 4-doors.... unlucky really cause they are a sweet ride
  6. Has anyone mentioned a XR6 Turbo ute yet?? Turbo so that your keeping with the Dorifto style... yet brand new so you can get your finance... I reckon with a exhaust and filter and maybe an aftermarket water/air intercooler and you would have yourself a filth drift pig... awfully expensive but awfully cool.
  7. In saying that... yes you can drift a commodore.... yes they look sweet with some rims... yes they look fat when dumped on their GUTS... IF you have heaps of money and nothing to do with it Go for it.... and hook up with the Drift Club... they go sick and have a few Commies on board that go just as hard as all the Imports... Check them out or go and see Darren at Autoshop in Marooka, Bris... actually if your looking for any info on the dorifto you should go see him...
  8. I agree with your statement on the fact that anything can be drifted... but I can tell you that I am also a Valiant NUTTER... I got a dirty big VG coupe and I have had it sideway many times... however it is NOWHERE near as controlable or and downright EASY to drift as my nice little S13 toy... I understand the new car problem but it would be simply crazy to do it to a nice new SV8.... and as for damage on the track... it's safer... but don't be fooled into a false security... when you hit a wall, and if it goes bad enough you WILL hit a wall (seen it done a Queensland Raceway) it will be a $40 000 dollar car that is written off with no insurance instead of a $10000
  9. Actually it's a pain cause I sorted a whole heap of Photo's of it to show how neat and well looked after it was and I couldn't get them to attach... my computer skills ain't amazing... but I did follow all the attachment promps... It is one of our customers cars... we almost fell over when this lady came in in a dead stock R33 and wanted and exhaust, stereo and springs... we thought she was marrige material... but it turns out that we were too late and now the Skylines going due to family commitments... don't you hate that...
  10. Yeah... It doesn't seen to be a good time to sell... it's sad that they aren't more popular cause they are a sexy bit of kit... this one is super low and it simply looks pimpn...
  11. however if you really want to learn to drift hard and majorly slideways go cheap and nasty get the best cheap S13 Silvia you can find go suspension, exhaust and intercooler and some cool mis-matched jap rims you will soon be Dorifting with the best!! be warned though to be the best requires heaps of practice ( smartest to do on closed roads or the race track) and generally involves heaps of Spins, prangs and general carnage of your vehicle... just a little warning p.s see my silvia has white rims on front and silver on back... you will go through rims if you drift... never put big $$$ rims on your drift toy to learn...
  12. Is it new you were really chasing or just something different? I understand that an S13 doesn't seem to appealing because it is a little old and it has been done many many times (often with easy and excellent results) If you want the new car look but are prepared to go with a second hand vehicle, why not look at a new Toyota Chaser... save some money on the new car and spend it on suspension, exhaust and some little mods and you will have a drift weapon for a whole lot less than anything new... and it will be easier to drift and being cooler to drive (ie pull chicks) better than most brand new cars (the women that don't love it more must be blind) anyway... that is my vote if you can afford it... check out a JZX100 Chaser...
  13. Photo's are available So just phone or PM me and I will arrange to email you the photos. Don't be shy either, this clean 4 Door is definatly worth a look!!

  15. I'll see you all soon for a cruise to the beach... Sciby are you coming?? Dev's little Bro just got a 33 four door... we have to break it in... We might even have to get it BoostN ... sorry i meant bostn.. damn i mean boosting anyone got a RB25 turbo manifold laying around... we can do the rest... maybe even a JC Engineering tricked up Auto... just the thing for a drag 4 door... see ya
  16. come on Sciby show some back bone... I know what my Silvia runs and I know that you aren't that far off it... I think you will just have to get used to racing on the strip... traction on street tyres sucks at a drag strip... I get my launch on the street than I do on the strip... and you see it time after time after time, new comers sitting on the limiter doing massive skids and running 2.8 60 ft times... it requires some smarts to get a street tyred car off the line... although Dev don't listen to that... limiter... launch... that is all I have to say... If I don't hear it poping on the limiter you aren't trying hard enough...
  17. Actually it would be interesting to see the Tone race the GTiR too... Don't get me wrong I don't know the guy and I am not trying to pick on him but he is just a good place to set Tones Goals on the street because a 13 second 4WD is super fast on the street... (although I guess a 12 second 4WD is better eh Rick) Would be pretty awsome to have a 2WD that quick... It would require heads more HP... look at Big Bill with his XD 12.4 at 118 MPH... that is 500 HP and Rick beats Bills street time with only 108 mph... but that is the Joys of new 4WD toys... you got traction so you don't need as much HP how do people drive 12 second front drives... CRAZY!!
  18. Anyway we are off to the beach for our regular little cruise... better go and see that Rick guy... try to give him some tips on how to dip down into the 11's... actually one more question is GTiR boy running at the Drags.... should be interesting to see how he does against the GTR's... Dev's more so than Ricks... although Dev will get there one day (when Cort allows it!! ) I had a play with Dev on thursday night on that cruise we had... bulk quick... looks very impressive... actually the funniest thing is that it tricks the Altessa and smokes the front wheels... does yours do that Rick? Maybe we might have to line the GTiR against Dev?
